Thanks for replying @"brscott" When I create the node, I set both the Caption and SysName to "ABC". After the first rediscovery, SW changes both to "xyz", which comes from the device’s firmware as a generic SysName. If I manually reset the Caption back to "ABC", SW does not overwrite it with "xyz" on the next rediscovery.…
