Hi there, Were you able to get this fixed please? We appear to be experiencing a similar type issue, running vManage 20.9.3.1. We are able to add vManage as well using the Viptela Orchestrator, and it at first appears to be up, inventory is populated. However a few minutes after, SolarWinds is no longer able to poll it and…

Cool, many thanks for the aid and answer.

Many thanks jm_sysadmin, that worked splendidly! :)
-
Many thanks mesverrum, Ended up going with the ends with that works.

Many thanks mesverrum, that worked perfectly!

Many thanks planglois, Will give that a go. Have also cast a vote for the feature request, completely agreed. Great points as well in the Also section of your request. For offline environments, not knowing what MIB database version is on customer portal is a niggling pain.

Many thanks donrobert5, Yup, have seen that link. Just recently updated the MIB database for our environment and ran the installer across main and additional pollers, but this question cropped up when I wanted to confirm it across all. I can surmise that it was successfully installed on the others, but was hoping akin to…

Many thanks bshopp, Sure, so we have an existing map of the country on SolarWinds, and am looking to plot the state of all our sites on that map. On the router for every site, if an interface is up - green, if however a custom poller (line protocol - cisco router) on another interface is up then - amber, otherwise if both…

Many thanks verwin_u, and others as well! Can't be SNMP data as the report I'm creating and the dashboard are all filtered to a specific IP address - host, so would expect this all to be coming from flows. Wouldn't get that level of granularity with SNMP, unless Solarwinds somehow uses both to display in the widget?…

Not sure if the timer will help with delineating between the nodes, but it is certainly going to help us for our other requirement. We did consider looking into the ServiceNow side as well, but opted to start with the Solarwinds side first in the hope it could all be done there. Many thanks for your thoughts!
-
Cool, will take a look at that. Many thanks again Adam!

Many thanks all for the aid and direction. Replying to all questions in this 1 post for brevity. The existing alert is triggered when node = down, an snmp trap is thus sent, ultimately to our case management tool - ServiceNow. This raises a ticket to the respective team based on a custom property defined for every node.…

Hi shuth, Ah yes, sorry no idea how I missed that. That does exactly what I was looking for. Many thanks!
-
It certainly helps and gives me something further to try out now. Thanks again!

Many thanks borgan. Gives me something else to look into. Sorry if I didn't word it properly, however any thoughts on how to get a single alert, but covering individual interfaces going down? e.g. any single interface going down e.g. G1/1 on a switch in Group 1 would create an alert. However for Group 2, any specific…
