Hi j1stio, this problem was already fixed in 10.4. Thanks for reporting, Pavel

Hi Mr.Wick, click the Export button on your chart and you will get the custom edit page. You can select Custom from Time Period dropdown and define the range according your needs. Thanks, Pavel

Hi mivy00, can you provide information about NPM version you are running on? Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi cmoore, what exactly do you mean by triggered triggers? Do you want to know what alerts were triggered? If so then I would look to DB for AlertStatus table or just open Advanced Alert Manager and click on Active Alerts icon. If not then can you provide more information about what triggered triggers mean? Thanks, Pavel

Hi sshgraham, yes, you can combine different limitation types for each account like Interface Name Pattern or Interface Type. So if there are unique attributes which specify your ports then you should be able to create proper limitation. More details about your case would be need for more accurate help. Thanks, Pavel

Hi Andrey, I am not able to reproduce it here in Solarwinds on Windows 2003 server x64. Can you provide more info about the environment you have, please? Version of browser, framework, regional settings or number of other patches installed would be helpful. Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi Sola, can you tell me what version of NPM do you have? We introduced new reporting on web in 10.6 and this report should be easily created there. Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi george29, I think you are looking for dbo.NPM_NV_WL_CLIENTS table and Client_MAC resp. one of the Client_Total... columns. This applies for NPM in version 10.4.1. Let me know if you need any other assistance. Cheers, Pavel
-
Hi Shaiful, delete this package and then synchronize your catalog (Synchronize now!). Package should be downloaded again. Let me know if you need any other assistance then, Pavel
-
Hi Fitz, as far as I know we did not do any particular changes in interface discovery in 10.7. Did you see those interfaces in previous version of NPM? Does readding of those nodes fix the issue? I would recommend you to go to \ProgramData\Solarwinds\DiscoveryEngine folder and open DiscoveryResultDump.log file. Then find…

Hi Brett, unfortunately there is no way to do it completely automatically yet but you can use scheduled discovery on the particular node(s). You will only need to manually import the results from the discovery then. Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi mh, I am not aware of any limitation related to internet access. My NPM and NCM can be installed on detached machine and are fully operable. Which product throws the error? Are all the prerequisites fulfilled on the machine? What does "as is" mean? Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi Frankv, yes and it si quite simple. Just add Multi Object Chart on the view and edit it. Select Interfaces from "Choose Object Type" then select a chart you want to see and Select specific interfaces. You should see traffic for selected interfaces after submit. Just remember that the chart is limited and you can…

Hi Glen, you should use same credentials which you use for logging into the manager. Cheers, Pavel

Hi sad_reliever, Multiple Universal Device Poller Chart from Multiple Series Charts (Classic Chart Style) group should do the work for you. You can select mutliple nodes for one UnDP and this resource can be placed on summary view. Let me know if you need other assistance. Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi pskfun, you can install NPM 10.0 in eval and then upgrade to licensed NPM 10.3. Regards, Pavel
-
Hi Tim, I think the best way to have this solved is to open support ticket with collected diagnostics and ideally with wire shark trace from the device. Anyway I would check in list resources if the interfaces are properly added on the device and polling is enabled on them. Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi mcuserton, I am affraid that you can not poll this in NPM as it is not supported device. You would be able to poll this data with UnDP but only when SNMP is used. Anyway you can create new feature request for Nagios device support. Cheers, Pavel

Hi ericq, Flash Player 11.5.502.110 should appear in the catalog later today. Thanks for posting on thwack, Pavel
-
Hi Amneese, What do you mean by "what happened"? Does it mean that it is missing on your NPM 10.5 installation? Thanks, Pavel
-
Hello Henrik, I am affraid that this is not possible in advanced alert manager right now. You have to compare against values saved in proper column in DB which means that there can not be another variable. You can create an feature request for that. Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi jspanitz, Aruba Wireless Controller is supported in Orion NPM as Wireless platform. We do check if the device respond on OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.14823.2.2.1.2.1.3. So try to test this oid in undp with your device and you should get the answer. Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi jkevoian, predefined alert "Alert me when an interface goes down" will do the work for you. Just replace variable ${InterfaceName} with ${Caption} or ${FullName} depending on which one is more suitable for you. I will check the issue with ${InterfaceName}. Anyway I would recommend to create and edit the copy of the…

Hi nickzourdos, There is thread solving similar problem. It is about charts but I think you should be able to do the same with gauges. Try to look at http://thwack.solarwinds.com/message/58095#58095 and let me know if it helps. Cheers, Pavel
-
Hi kiwi, what about creating new view with this resource and setting view limitation on this view. Would it be suitable for you? Cheers, Pavel
-
Hi David, can you post screenshot of what exactly you see on the web? You have to have both pollers assigned to the device (node) if you want to see transform poller but you dont have to display both on the web. Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi Whit, Screenshot would be very heplfull in your case. First of all, I would check in manage accounts if your account has View Customization rights. Then I would try to go to Manage Views and look for the all nodes view and tried to edit it. Unfortunately there is no reset to default option. Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi Wally, there is no way you could see how many interfaces on your monitored devices are not added into NPM. You can only see them when you do List resources on each device and those which are not checked are not monitored. Hope it helps a bit. Cheers, Pavel
-
Hi jrebelo, do you experience this behavior on all of your workstations or specific one only? Would it be possible to turn on windows update log, reproduce the issue and send the log to me? I will do quick investigation on our environment. Thanks, Pavel
-
Hi AlexSI, you can remove credentials from the discovery profile using the red X button. You can remove credentials permanently in DB from dbo.credential table by deleting the row. Anyway I am not sure about behavior of discovery profile which uses those deleted credentials. Cheers, Pavel
