Thank you Haley for your response back, I do Appreciate your help in this matter.I'm still having the issue of "No data for Selected time period". I’m not sure what the problem is, I was able to get one site working to satisfaction but it entailedremoving it and re adding it several times. Initially when I installed the…

+ 1 ,.. "full integration with Orion and Network Atlas".. importing from NTM to Atlas, Green dots... bah.. give me the option to say if its this Machine type, you get this icon,.. Comment of "When engineers build a map manually, they tend to have between 8 and 20 nodes" ... that is a bad assumption,.. "it's not something…

Hi Michal, Thank you for your response, I understand that IPAM supports automatic scans for ip subnets, and the recommendation of creating supernets, However: I have found that when importing subnets via a spreedsheet it does not automatically create the corresponding IP address range. In my humble opinion, this would be a…

I believe achrich is right, in that ip sla uses layer 3. Also, if your talking about cisco switches, that the native Cat ios does not support ip sla. I could be wrong,
-
Yup!!

Thank you Drew, for your response. Appreciate it.
-
Thank you for that document, it did not specifically fix my current issue. However your response "It sounds like you are only collecting data for one of the call paths." Spawned a thought process, I checked the router that i'm currently having a problem with for any IP SLA configurations and there was none configured. I…

Thank you for your reply mesverrum, Good question, The return value of 'Select EngineID FROM Orion.Engines' is 1

The source IP address of the datagrams exported by NetFlow is used by the destination system to determine which router the NetFlow data is arriving from. If your network has two or more paths that can be used to send NetFlow datagrams from the router to the destination system, and you do not specify the source interface to…

Good day mprobus, I have only seen SNMP related items in Engineers Toolset, though I mainly use this tool for network (router/switch) related tasks. I've never tried to use Engineers Toolset with WMI, nor the Web version. - Hope this helps

do you need ingress or Egress on the interface?
-
exactly what are you looking for? are you looking for utilization between the two interfaces, or what application are traversing between the two?
-
Is there a need to conserve bandwidth? are the two machines on the same Lan with Switches?

Hey Saidfrh1, this is what I have for a similar situation. I duplicated "High Receive Percent utilization with Top Talkers" On the trigger condition, I did this, modify as necessary Heres my reset Here's my Trigger Actions, I left the defaults, but modified as necessary For my Reset Condition, I left the defaults, but you…

if you know the SNMP OID/MIB and if your sever supports it, you could setup a custom poller for your servers.

I have not figured out why the engineId field is not updated when using create API on IPAM, I had to use a work around; I created a trigger on the Database for table IPAM_Group. I'm sure this is not supported by solarwinds support. Use at your own risk. etc.. so forth and so on. Microsoft SQL Script to create a Trigger. My…

is it dying because of the "--More--" ?? I'm not familiar with the Kiwi Cat Tools, however looking at the logs, that's what I'm seeing. could be wrong. With the Kiwi Cat tools, are you able to pass commands prior to doing the show run ? if so not being familiar with the 'ACE',.. can you configure the line vty to have…

Thank you all for replying to my Question. I ended up contacting support for this and they had me download an update to the client http://downloads.solarwinds.com/solarwinds/Release/PreRelease15/BD/NTM-BD-FB399446.zip I don't know if they want me to post this link, however the updated client fixed my issue. Thank you All…

to add to the great information that mstevens wrote, you may not recieve data comming from the loopback. you may recieve an event with in solarwinds stating some thing like netflow receiver service is receiving a netflow data stream from an unmanaged interface on (ip address). if you want to use the loopback interface as…

Jiri, I have to agree with extrands and rgward. This requirement is popular. Having this capability in NCM would be beneficial as rgward stated it would really make NCM command scripts more robust and powerful. I agree with extrands comment: "..and for non-global configuration changes, I'm not seeing the value in having…

could you use a span port and a sniffer to capture the traffic?

Hey Mine, I know this Thread is old, maybe it will help other people out. Frustrating,.. isn't it.. I've seen this, I was using the automatic configuration to configure our call paths on our routers(cisco) for some reason the VOIP monitor wasn't configuring all of the routers with all of the paths. make a long story short.…
