Thanks! I just figured that out with support a few minutes ago as well. Still trying to see what we can do to get the events to be filtered by either view limitation or something else
-
I have the same view limitation, single group "UPS" that contains my ups nodes, it just doesnt seem to be applying to the event widgets. I feel like i'm probably just missing something obvious
-
I think my environemnt is jsut messed up, I'm noticing some features are missing ( like being able to 'group by' in the all nodes widget). I'm wokring with support now to get it resolved. Thanks for all the help!

I'm thinking with HCO there have been many features removed from solarwinds. I found a person who had created this dashboard. They have many features that I don't have: - Filtered triggered alerts ( and can select all active alerts, and can edit the widget) - Last 25 events, filtered (and can edit the widget) - All nodes…
-
I'm not using a modern dashbaord for this. It's odd that the 'Last 25 events" widget is uneditable, and unfilterable. Or that you cant make a dashboard to only display devices based on a filter.
-
It looks like its filtered to show only the events and audit events related to your UPS's. Is it a global filter across the dashboard maybe?
-
Thats looking a lot betterm but The icons are only showing up as text instead of the icon showing. I was having this problem in my other custom table as well that wasn't using swql. i've tried modifying the query but I'm not familar with the available attributes
-
Hey, one last part you might be able to help me with. I'm trying to create the events and audit events lists that you have. Are you using a sepcific widget that your filtering for the related events, or is it a custom SWQL query you've created? Thanks!

I do have a custom property to idetify device types, applied to all my UPS devices. Feature wise my chart works already, i'm jsut trying to get the event images and the alternating cell shading that comes with the prebuilt event tables, as it is much easier to read
-
Thanks for the Reply, That query gets me what I can already build in a custom table, but not quite what i'm trying to build. for reference, I'm filtering on a set of subnets where the devices reside.. Here's what I'm trying to get: But this is what I'm able to create:
-
Well jeezze that was way easier than expected. I was messing around with a custom tables and trying to get the right data displayed. thank you very much!

Ah sorry, I had thought there was a method to export these, I'm still fairly new to solarwinds. I've just configured the UNDPs for my Eaton and APC UPS's, and i'm trying to get the data to display simialrly to yours. Would you be able to share the configuration of the Widgets? I'm piecing it together on my own, but if you…

Would it be possible for you to share a copy of this dashboard? It has almost everything I'm looking for to cover the UPS's in my environment
