Please check for this information mentioned below. Simply you are not entering the correct community string.Go back to the physical device in the question, and check the snmp configuration and the community string. Community string is case sensitive.

Again without snmpwalk results it is hard to come to any conclusion. In the mean time you could log into the device and pick one or two interface names to paste a screen shot of them.According to the "Interfaces table" in the database, the "interfacename" field has a limit of 255 characters.I am trying to see if the…

Here is how you access the database. Login to the server where the Orion is installed.Goto start-->All Programs-->SolarWinds Orion-->Advance features-->Database Manager.Connect to the database and look for the table named "Accounts"

I believe 4GB RAM should work. The documents say for 2000 elements 3GB of RAM should be fine.Keeping the other modules in mind I suggested RAM 4GB .

Great we found the problem.Lets fix this. Go ahead and add the node ,while adding you would be asked to enter the SNMP credentials.Once you enter them, make sure you "Test".If the test says successful then go ahead and complete the rest.It should work.

Here is the link to download the Engineer toolset.Once you install them, navigate to the MIB walk application which is pretty straight forward to use. http://www.solarwinds.com/products/toolsets/ So if the snmpwalk returns the value as unknown then it is something which you have to work on the device end.Vice versa, you may…

I don't think we can find any MIBs for your request, both forum and online search.Could you install this snmpwalk tool to run a complete snmpwalk to your IBM device. The snmpwalk results would show the MIB to its left and the corresponding value to its right. So by looking from the results of the MIB(on the right) you could…

Hi Ismo, Just to be said, I'd like to: - follow one client per report, in shortest possible frequency (10 seconds?) - time period: last 24 hours per report (that's about 8600 rows... so maybe lower frequency will be enough...?). - And I'd like to see which AP client is connected to, and also RSSI and availability (ping…

What version on NPM are you currently running ?Is it evaluation or full version? If its Orion full version what is SQL server?
-
You are right with UnDP. You see SysObjectId is blank,so now can you confirm what is the value for the column "ObjectSubType".(for the same device)
-
Hi OllyDrew, I would like to see a screen shot of "Custom Property for Nodes" from the Custom Property editor.(You may blur out the important information in the screen shot,I mainly want to see the Region field) How did you import the file in brief? Thx

We have taken into our systems. Here is the reference #83116.

I would recommend to open a support ticket to look in deeper.

I cant say without looking into your SQL query.Could you paste them both the Trigger condition and Trigger Action. We have folks who are good in SQL(in Thwack),so once you paste I believe we should have more people responding.
-
Hi Ritika, Here are my answers. I believe that Orion is polling the interface for statistics collection every 9 min, but the DateTime value recorded in the table are when the response comes from the device, which can be random and not necessarily separated by 9 min. Is my understanding correct? Ans:You are right. There can…

Can you run a SNMP WALK to confirm if stack interfaces are showing up?If possible paste just the stack interface data along with mibs from the snmpwalk results. Also which version of NPM did you upgrade from and to? Install this tool on the Orion server, this is a SNMP WALK browser and very simple to install. Here is the…

Seeing from all the details provided so far.I would say CPU speed minimum 3GHz or faster (dual core dual processor) Hard Drive Space minimum 20GB RAM 4GB Operating System: Windows 2003 Server SP2 or later (32-bit and 64-bit) including R2,with IIS installed and running in 32-bit mode. Looks like we dont have supported OIDs to create custom poller. So please add this to the List of MIBs in the link mentioned below. Especially the one you have highlighted on the screenshot.

On my prior post I was using 10.2 to replicate and it worked straight away. I then moved on to 10.1.3 and replicated. It worked for me after going to settings and on top right corner selected "Clear Web Cache". Give it a shot,if it does not work.I would recommend to open a support ticket along with this thwack link to…
