  • Thanks pyro13g for posting this SQL Query.
  • Can you open a support ticket to investigate further and reference the ticket# back with the solution.
  • It may be worth running the configuration wizard,by selecting all the Orion components.(may be just website may work, but we are not sure where the problem is coming from) start-->All Programs-->SolarWinds Orion-->Configuration and Auto-Discovery-->Configuration Wizard.
  • Using Advanced Alert manager, you must able to achieve this. In the Trigger Condition, you may set the 'Type of Property to Monitor' as 'Group' and provide the Group condition and same applies for Nodes. After working with Trigger condition you may move to Trigger Actions for setting up Email Alerts. The following link must…
  • Back to Question 1 In the database, look for the table "EventTypes".In that table there is a field "BackColor".Here is where you need to make changes to have them reflect in the GUI. The value in "Backcolor" is integer representation of hexadecimal color representation in BGR format.
  • Looks like the settings in the screen shot seems to be OK.I would recommend to open a support ticket to investigate further.
  • Looks like there is no options on both the request right now.Working with Dev to see if any work around possible. Will keep you updated.
  • Yes administrator can create a report in pdf with information about users. Here is how you can do it. 1.Open the 'Report Writer' tool.(Start-->All Programs-->SolarWinds Orion-->Alerting,Reporting and Mapping-->Report Writer) 2.Select New-->Advanced SQL,Give the Report Group name and a Report title in the 'General Tab' 3.In…
  • Would you like to try this. Region like '%UK%' Just in case you might have left any space before or after naming in the region data field. And also just review the steps mentioned above and let us know how different is it from yours.
  • Screenshots are not showing up.Can you repost them?Thank you.
  • Please open a support ticket to dig into the log files and find the root cause for the problem.Feel free to post post back the ticket # and the solution.
  • I did a quick search for the device on Internet.I found they support snmp version 1.So did you have a chance to get the device added on Orion by selecting snmpv1. You may also look for the snmp configuration settings on the Laser jet SNMP configuration settings on the device. And you may check for port 161 is listening.
  • Hi natem50, When attempting to create a new UnDP and testing OID's that I simply browsed to, I receive 'OID Not Supported'. I am hoping it's simply something I need to configure on the client side to allow NPM to pull data. If this is what you are doing, then please check this blog.Hope you should find answers.
  • Looks like license seems to fine. Here are two things to check further. You may run a snmpwalk for those nodes to see if they are picking up the interface and other stats. You may access the database and open up the Interface table to see if the interfaces for those 5 nodes are showing up in the database. If snmpwalk is…
  • This isn't looking good.Running the configuration wizard can possibly fix the issue. However I would recommend to open a support ticket so that we can look in deeper and see what has caused the problem. Please refer this thwack post in the support ticket.Feel free to post the ticket# back in this thread and the solution…
  • Right you need to use InterfaceErrors_Details in your Query.Once you complete the SQL,you may validate the SQL by selecting "Validate SQL" in the bottom of the page.
  • Log into the GUI and click 'settings' on the right top corner of the home page. Then select the 'Polling settings' option from the list. You should see the Orion Polling settings page up on the screen which has all the information you wanted to know. The "Polling Statistics Intervals" defines the how often the data…
  • Got it.I tried to replicate this on my lab. Here is what I observed. I followed the steps mentioned in my last thread response.Just a recap,I selected a switch and moved to Node details page.I did list resources wherein I went on and deselected one of its child interface. Then I logged into the database quickly and looked up…
  • You may pull up the Advanced Alert Manager tool and look for the Configure Alerts option.Look for the alert in the question and edit the alert trigger action. Hope this should help to edit the event. Basically getting back to your question ,where are the events coming from. They are pre- defined alerts with its trigger…
  • For external website monitoring I would suggest to look in for SEUM tool.(This should work perfectly according to your needs) Here is a link for more information. http://www.solarwinds.com/products/seum/application-monitoring-software.aspx Here is a link for documentation guide.…
  • Just want to add in here.Looks like we have this thread where similar issue was discussed.
  • Have you been able to fix this issue?
  • I am trying understand the results. When you apply the changes as suggested, are you seeing the interface name on the left and raw values in the right? And when you set the "Enumeration",you are seeing raw values in the left and the state(forwarding/blocking) in the right? What is the MIB value? And what device is it?
  • May be you can log into the database and pull up the interfaces table to see if the corresponding data is in for the Nortel470 device. And also did you rediscover the device to see if the issue got fixed?
  • Was there any changes made on the server recently?Looks like more of a sync issue, its hard to say without looking deeper in the logs.I would suggest to open a support ticket to dig in deeper.
  • Good to see that snmp was used to discover this Node.Look for the "InterfaceTraffic_Detail" table, for this node and their corresponding interfaces. There is a column named "In_Averagebps".Do you see data in there, please check the same for the appropriate date you had on the screen shot? I would recommend to open a support…
  • Here are few things which you might want to check to see if its correctly configured. I see that you are using SNMP v3 to add UCS to NPM. Please confirm if you have got the ones mentioned below right. • SNMPv3 Username, Context, Authentication Method, and Password. Note: If this password is a key, check Password is a key.…
  • Please open a support ticket to look into this further.
  • Just trying to get more details. Are you referring to the "Monitored Network Objects" in the Basic Alerts? The current NPM version has got a "Select All" option ,so you don't have to select each ports manually.
  • Got it.So if I am understanding this correctly, you don't want to see the repeat value field in the radial gauge at all. Or you would like to know how a repeat value gets filled in the radial gauge.
