It's increased our speed significantly, I've also allowed defragmentation of the DB and run DB maintenance. We're still getting slow page refreshes, around 5 - 15 seconds for standard pages and 20+ for pages with graphs / lots of data.

I'm afraid i do not. Might be worth emailing SW support and seeing if they have. Sorry!

I'm not showing high read / write times to the DB hard drive. It's peaking at 1MB/sec, It's showing no IO wait using any monitor. I will look into configuring a RAM Disk, And put the log and the tempdb onto it. Maybe I need to create a ticket.

Just an update for this, We recently went around and updated all the agents, This is now reporting correctly in 90% of cases, The rest are really old hardware builds so probably that's at fault rather than the agent's / SolarWinds.

The poller is only at 43%. I do not believe it is the poller at all. The system usage isn't high enough for the poller to be having any effect

Right, Today I have: Installed SQL Enterprise 2008 R2 in a trial mode. It's running on 16 processors with 18GB of RAM assigned. The RAID5 is still present, and according to the performance monitor for SQL it's not using any database IO. We are still suffering issues with speed, Please can you advise what else we can try?…

Hardware monitoring is turned on for this host, I have 35 other servers currently reporting OK, However this one appears to be showing as NA for the hardware type, Though it does show "up" and it does show the status of the various elements of the box. Wonder if that could be what is causing it? The rest show the HP logo…

We're running NPM 10.2 upgraded from 10.1, Which made quite a bit of difference. We looking into getting a RAID 10 setup, However it'll mean moving the DB and other items around. Having looked into SQL Express 2008 x64 R2, It appears it only supports 1GB of RAM and 1 processor. I am not maxing out any of the processors, So…

Specifically which parts of the requirements and recommendations are we not compliant to? Speaking with SolarWinds, They appear to believe it's not the hardware at fault? Where did you get your stats from?

This was down the HP systems Insight Manager being an elder version, Once this was upgraded the problem went away and I am now monitoring 35 physical bits of tin perfectly happily, with all of my VMs reporting correctly from the now native support too! good show!

Issue was with Windows 7 and not running it as an administrator. Is this something that can be resolved in the next patch? Regards,
