I will second DirtySouth's response--we definitely recommend that you run SQL on a seperate box. For more information, please see the NPM Requirements section of the Orion NPM Administrator Guide. Use the arrow keys to scroll through the document. M

Hey Questionario-- I checked with development and here's what they said: "The account the syslog and trap service are running under does not have any relation to NCM database. Connection to NCM database is always performed using db credentials specified in NCM Config Wizard. This apply to all NCM functionality." HTH, M
