  • Mav, I have opened a case and worked with the SW Engineer. We have found that the device which we were scanning didn't have a hostname configured. Once we configured the device to have a host name, it was then populated into IP Address Tracker and IPAM correctly. This doesn't explain why if a device doesn't have a hostname…
  • I'm having a similar issue which I only spotted this morning. Our Orion box is at 10.60.31.19 however within IPAM there is a DNS entry at 10.60.31.19 and 10.140.1.120. I have cleared the range and re-added and also deleted the DNS entry for 10.140.1.120 however the DNS entry is still re-populated after a scan. We are…

Host-Resources-MIB:hrSystemUptime 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.1 This appears to be a more accurate measure of the last time the node rebooted. The…
  • I have opened a case but I thought I would share the details. This is my current UnDP with the latest MIB database: And this is how it used to look: I will revert to using the old MIB file however could these be included in any future update.
  • ecklerwr1, The problem with using this alert is it doesn't represent when the node rebooted but when the SNMP service was restarted. The SNMP service can bounce but that doesn't mean that the whole device has been rebooted. It isn't an accurate method for monitoring.
