Hi guys, I will make sure I get this in front of both the web and the search team. Thank you for the feedback. Michael

Congrats, sir. You should see your badge now.
-
Hi andressk24, You actually do have the badge in your profile... If you click your name and then look about half way down your badges, you'll see it. If you'd like to highlight it and make it appear when someone hovers over your avatar, check out the me-in-three option. I talk about how to select badges for me-in-three…

All, This was supplied for a customer on a call with support and was created for v3. Unless you are on a call with a support rep, this code cannot and will not be supported by SolarWinds. I am talking to the team internally to see if, with the above disclaimer, it can stay up. It is quite possible I will need to remove…

Hi Byron, I'm going to see if I can't get you some help on this from our SW folks. Hang tight. Thanks, Michael
-
I'm sending this over to the ID department. Someone should be able to help you out. Thanks, Michael

Hi litelenole, Try this link http://bcove.me/8nr9eb21 Hope that helps,Michael

All, We do not update with every service pack, though we often do for service releases and we do update for 'dot' releases and major version releases. The issue with version numbers is where to stop. I do not have a problem incorporating the major and dot into the front matter. The date was always more exacting (and less…

Thanks John... that confirms we need our index rebuilt. We will get it done.

There is an identical thread here: that I am going to lock. The information that differs is from Martin.Susil, including it here: "This message informs you that historical data in APM tables have not been summarized for some time. This indicates that Database Maintenance probably wasn't executed for several days or…
-
Please continue this thread here: if necessary. It seems we have 2 identical threads.

swapnilm and johndunn1970, we are working on it and making progress. I will update this thread the second we have it fixed on prod... probably will require a short maintenance period on thwack, but that will have to be.

Hi all, We are investigating with the product team, can't locate any change in functionality on thwack side at the moment... Thanks for your patience, Michael CC: DanielleH and aLTeReGo

Rob, I think you might need to install the Flash player. For some reason your browser isn't telling you to do so, but I've got it running without issue using Flash Player 10.3.183.5. Thanks, Michael

Chuck, I apologize for this oversight and will make sure this requirement is added to the documentation. Thank you for you patience and your feedback. Your comments are much appreciated. Sincerely,

In re to your 4:32am post: You are absolutely correct. I am updating the Release Notes to include this information. The update will be posted this evening. Thank you. Michael

Please take a look at the following page and see if it helps: www.solarwinds.com/.../OrionNetFlowPHSettingsChartGraph.htm Thanks, Michael

Mike, Points help you see your engagement in comparison with other community members. We are also exploring ideas around creating a store in which you could redeem your points. But, right now, points are an engagement and participation meter. Thanks, Michael

I like the suggestion. I will socialize it with our platform people and see if this is on the roadmap . As per your question... I don't believe we have a definitive number in mind at this time. Let's see how this goes, and we'll see if we a number or range makes sense as we go.

Hi Larry, I moved this over to NPM's forum. Hopefully someone here will have seen something akin to what you're reporting and have a quick solution. Cheers, Michael
-
Dan, I'm sorry to hear you had such a difficult time with the upgrade. I do have a few questions about your experience. Your answers will help improve the documentation in the future. 1. Did you attempt to update your system temp variable? My understanding is that our installation uses this variable as the configurable…
-
You are correct on both counts; I mistakenly left the trailing semicolons in. And the proper definitions will be provided for the vars you mentioned. I should be able to push the changes to the website Monday night, so they will be correct on Tuesday. My apologies for the misinformation, and thank you for pointing it out.
-
lchance, The documentation states that you should be able to use the variables you are attempting to use. Please open a support ticket, as this looks to be a bug in Map Maker. Thank you, Michael

That link should be to here: http://www.solarwinds.com/NetPerfMon/SolarWinds/OrionNCMPHRTCDWarning.htm

Hi hondaqwe, The way this is designed to work is that you access the Orion Web Console from your Toolset Engineer's edition box. That is, from your Toolset computer, open a browser and point it to the Orion Web Console. Then this scenarion should work without a hitch. Let me know if that works for you, Michael
-
You are absolutely right. Need to remove Poll, too... Sorry for the confusion around this.
-
The port you need to open is 17605. As far as why the Web Console does not talk directly to the database, that is to allow for extensibility. The addition of an abstraction layer ensures every user that accesses the Web Console is not directly hitting the database. The port information will be added to the next APM release…

joneal222, I talked with the PM of the product here and it turns out, I wasn't nuts, there is a way to do what you want. You can take your config file (text file) and drag and drop it on your switch in the Win32 client. You can then set it as the baseline for that switch. You'll need to repeat this for each of your…
