Thanks rgward!

Solved! An IOS upgrade made stack-port monitoring possible. Thanks!

Yes you will have 2 x NPM servers, but the Web server part is only active on 1 server. They will both send data to the Database server.
-
Thanks a lot. I'll try that.
-
Me too.
-
Yes, i would like that too.
-
Wauw, great post! Works right out of the box.
-
Thanks for the replys. How do you monitor the stackports? If i make a "list resources" on my stacks it looks like the attached picture. I can't see the stackports.

Solved. Problems with database, which NPM 9.5.1 did not discover. Size of database 70+ gigs. NPM V.10 could not work with the database in this condition, and therefore the polling engines went down. I stopped all SolarWinds services on both polling engines, and did a database maintenance job which went on for 48 hours!…

Here is the reply fra Solarwinds support. The workaround works! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The issue you are experiencing appears related to a bug with the web-based network discovery which has already been reported to the development team. The gauges for resp and pack loss are working but no historical data is being written to the DB. Node status is unaffected by this and is operating as…

Hi rgward! Would you like to share your poller with me? I have a lot of Cisco Catalyst 3750 stacks.
-
The polling servers get marked as down when the database archive job starts at 2:15. If i run database maintance is the same. Stops here... Maybe something is worng with the database, but it worked perfect on NPM 9.5.1...

I've submitted a ticket on this. No matter how i start a discovery the result is the same. From the web or via the primary polling engine or the secondary polling engine, it just hangs instandly.
