I'm up for this. Was good last year and look forward to another. London is personally fine for me.
-
Also a Mac version of the app.
-
Bump...
-
Is there any way to accomplish the same but from the web front end GUI report writer?

Digging a little deeper it seems that the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.41916 for BFD sessions may only be supported on these devices: Until we upgrade to 17.6.x as that includes a bunch of new MIBs: (from the 17.6 release notes) . I have a copy of the 17.6 MIB, how do we know if SW are actively importing this into their MIB DB ?…

OK, here is what I get when I > * Choose the interfaces object type and add my interfaces by clicking on Select Object I have to select the 'Select object resource' before I can edit the graph. My screen is different to yours but the result is still the same. I can complete my objective but with 2 percentile lines. I would…
-
Nope, no 'Edit Settings' button.. Like a say and attached above, my screen looks different to yours when editing the 'Multiple Object Chart'.
-
Darn. let me try.
-
Yup I have found the av bps. But it does not include a 95th percentile. Darn it!
-
Thanks for the advice guys, can I bulk add a list of IP's including node names/descriptions? These 'nodes' are all circuit endpoints so all have fancy names with circuit ID's etc as their name. It will be a right pain to type them back in.
-
Lorenzo.. Many thanks.. That has re-synced and allowed me to delete the node in NPM.. Don't you just love little hidden buttons.!
-
Hi Stuart, for the Multiple Object Chart, I only see packets per sec not bits.. My screenshot looks different to yours in respect to the layout. I think I can get what I want out of a Custom Object Resource chart but have the slight issue of two 95th percentile lines when I need an overall combined line.

Dragging this thread up from the past... What does MSFT mean? I have just imported 200 odd scopes into IPAM, they all have scope names relevant to their location/site on the DHCP boxes but IPAM has just imported the name as 0.0.0.0/24 for example. Without a fix for this, I see a very long and boring job ahead of renaming.…

Hi Fcaron... I'm dragging this up from the past.. I am still unable to display the returned IP gibberish from 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.2.2.1.2 rttMonEchoAdminTargetAddress to display as IP addresses correctly. I just get unreadable characters. Can you elaborate on how you got this to work? I'm using: Raw Value IP Address Get…

That is great, I see what you have done there, simple when you think about it really., I will create that and report back.
-
OK, deleting the node, then re-adding again has solved it.. Thumbs up to BobMarley for his suggestion. Maybe they were added as SNMP once but then changed to ICMP as a bulk. So I have over 150 nodes to re-add, unless SW TAC can help me out.? The behaviour is now what I expect, an ICMP node just using ICMP and not trying to…

Stuart, I do not see the option to graph 'average bits per second (step chart)' when I edit a Multiple Object Chart on a summary page... I am on version 10.5 of NPM Mezdem... I I have located the options you are using and I get very nearly the results I need.. I just need the 95% percentile to be a combination of both in…

This worked, exactly as expected.!
-
If I put that in the Alert Suppression tab NOTHING triggers the alert at all. Regardless of having 'RSP' in the name name or not. I have done some reading of the above links and it seems the Alert Suppression tab works very differently to what you would expect. So back to the Alert Trigger conditions. There is no 'does not…

Thanks DH but the offending node fails to display in the web front end of NCM for me to delete it.. It is visible in the GUI on the server but not in the web front end. Any other ideas?
-
Alen, thats a fine idea.
-
Bits per second, Stuart.
-
Indeed.. I need them to manage their own alerts, adjust the times and possibly (in the future) change the alert conditions. RDP'ing to the SolarWinds box or giving them admin rights to the web front end is not an option. Any ideas of installing just the 'Advanced Alert Manager' on a local machine? Is this possible?
-
That requires them to RDP to the box running SolarWinds though..? Or can they install 'Advanced Alert Manager' on their local machines? MED.
-
Yes in the node details page or in node management like below: And in the node details page:
-
I'm sure these nodes have always been an ICMP node, created this way and not changed from SNMP.. This is the reply from SW TAC today: " It is expected behavior that the Hardware health monitoring would show as Undefined state because no information for it can be polled if the device is polled via ICMP, (ICMP would only be…
-
Would this work?
-
This has now resolved itself by removing and re-adding the device. and re-running the compare. Case closed. Thanks all.

Bringing up an old thread. Yes I have this issue too.. Anyone know of a way to combine multiple script results into a combined results screen. Showing the results of 'Sh run | inc xxx' on 300 devices was really quick and easy via the 7.3 client. But no longer available in 7.4. Or am I missing it somewhere?

I have found the chart I require: Its "Average bits per second (Step Chart)" It includes a 95th percentile line. But that chart can only be added to an interface page, not a new summary view/page with numerous interfaces. What I need to do is use that chart on a per interface level numerous times on a single page. Does any…
