This no longer works :( as we had a similar thing setup and it is failing to load due to permissions. 

Is there any ETA on when this is being included, just that it is very important for my company to be on top of these alerts?

What I found is that vintage Cisco Equipment like Switches, Routers and standard cisco ASA, yep no problem you can get the serial number as it is pulled by NCM by using the the login that is assigned to the device.
