  • How come I don't get anything (OID not supported) when I use the UCD MIB to pull disk IO stats from our Windows 2003 server? Does that mean that windows does not support disk IO stats? Thanks.

  • Is there a big difference between the TCP port and finger port monitor? Other than the ports that they are monitoring? If I use the finger port monitor and change the port to 80, will it be thesame as the TCP port monitor on port 80? Thanks.

  • I tried to time how long it takes to show the configuration when I am @ CLI and it's about 10 seconds. Also, the config downloaded by NCM has at least 20.

  • Jon, If you can send me whatever information you can send about this that would be greate. My concern is we are using net-snmp in our RHEL systems and the encryption only says AES but in solarwinds its AES 128. I am hoping they are compatible. Thanks.

  • Linux Redhat and Windows 2003. We only have Orion configured to use the out of the box monitoring due to information assurance reasons. I am wondering if there is a configuration file that I can access that provides me the specific OIDs of the metrics that Orion is polling. Thanks.
