Looks great!. Been waiting for this release for a while - I'm downloading it now!

- One handy feature would be a button on the graph screen to toggle the vertical axis betwwen the default scale you show and another starting at 0. A lot of graph screens show a deceptive picture of the scale of change because the scale is effectively zoomed in to the top of the chart. - Another would be like in…

Hi, The Profiler server is a Virtual. Win 2008R2. 3 Virtual CPU, 16GB RAM. It only using about half the RAM so that seems ok. It previously had two vCPU's allocated, the third didn't seem to make any difference. Underlying ESX 4.0 host is a Dell R710, Dual Xeon X5570 2.93Ghz, 96GB RAM. Profiler tells me that ESX server is…

Hi, just to let you know - I've also seen the "|19" or similar appear in some columns in a few CSV reports as well - and I'm running 4.12.4. It's not a big deal for me right now, just thought support would like to know it's not just Lee and not just 5.0. Cheers Karim

Yes, I'm already doing that - the Profiler server itself is not the poller for most of the devices - that function is spread across many different agents. What I'm asking about is that the previous post implied that you could run the actual Profiler Collection module (ProfilerCollector.exe) on a separate server than the…

+1 for Centera support from me. Thanks Karim

Is there any documentation / info on how to setup the collector service to run on a different host than the main core Profiler server? I have the same issue with the collector service hammering the CPU regularly and making the application non responsive.

Thanks Brian. That's good news on the VNX but it sounds like the Isilon isn't on the radar at the moment? Karim.

Hi Mitch, yes, we are running FastVP on our VMAX and use Storage Manager - I would definitely also like to see thin pool forecasting. Cheers Karim

I'd be interested in this one too - I'd like a quick report so I can show our VMWare and Windows guys how badly underutilised the luns I give them really are. eg a 1TB lun assigned to an ESX cluster, has 800GB of VMDK's on it and within that about 200GB of space actually used by the guest O/S Cheers

Yep, that did the trick. Thanks Karim

Come on Solar Winds guys - we need to know if and when Isilon support is coming. It's been more than a year since my original post. This is not a niche vendor - EMC are the worlds biggest storage player and they bought Isilon more than 18 months ago. Even some basic capacity reporting views and system status would be…

I've got the same issue with no information in those physical and logical mapping fields for VMs even though the datastore is on an array that Profiler is succesfully monitoring. From previous queries the recommended number for each poller is around a maximum of 200 VMs but it may be less depending on number of datastores,…

Currently running VCenter 4.0 with a mix of 3.5 and 4.0 ESX servers
