Sum_giais, Thank you so much for the response! I am attempting to run with what you have provided. Would the next step then be to build out the alert that uses the action of "set custom Property value"? I am in the "Manage Alerts" section currently, trying to create the alert, but where it indicates "I want to alert on", I…

The answer to this question is to Navigate to Settings > All Settings > Customize Navigation & Look > Customize Menu Bars. From there, navigate to the Menu Bar: NTA_TabMenu section, and select "Edit". From here you can delete whichever views you wish!

I appreciate your response. There is a step I am missing. I followed your instructions; it seems like i cannot mix one Platform object for "Node" and then have another for "interface". I followed what you have published, and i am sure it is accurate, but for whatever reason, when i switch to Advanced, then go in and select…

Fair enough. My fear is that if i change it from "Node" to "interface" , i end up losing the criteria that initially builds the report. that criteria picks all of our gear from a specific manufacturer. How can i maintain that AND get the report to select the "interface" criteria. Is it adding another simple condition?

Hi PattPall, I surely appreciate your trying to help! I did make the adjustments - i.e. i selected MAC address from Device Inventory this time as you had indicated. i had the exact same result unfortunately..

I did not use a Custom Query. What i did was use a Custom Table.. I within the Custom Table added a column and selected MAC address as the last column

I am not sure what you are referencing when you say "look for Diane Cleofe". We do not typically (or at least as i am aware) able to select or request which technician is assigned to our Case. If you know of a way to do that please let me know.

I was asking the question because it would have been nice to have it as a feature in World Maps. We like the World Map widget due to its geolocation feature. I have like you used Network Atlas using nested maps for many years. I dont think they have a Geolocation feature, do they?

I have a case open with Solarwinds. Thanks for your response.

I did open a case with Support. thx!

Adam, what do you mean when you say "double timings"?

Thanks for your response. KMNRUser

Muckman, I appreciate your response. Can you be more specific? NCM is installed here, but another team takes care of that. Any input you have would be welcome. Thanks, KMNRuser
-
Steven, Also could you please explain what you mean specifically when you say "use the API"?.. Thanks, KMNRuser

Steven, We are actually getting ready to start from scratch again with our deployment. The goal in a perfect world would be a clean database. We were thinking that by deleting all nodes it would clean the database. Perhaps you can comment on if that will work. I would think that deleting all nodes would implicitly delete…

The server is in the same building and is virtual. No WAN links here...

thanks for your reply, I am working directly on our Core server and it seems to be a consistent issue. I will place labels in certain places, and then when I try to put objects underneath the labels for administrative grouping on the map, the label jumps to another position on the map. This is highly problematic when you…

Sean, Is there a way to set a default size for specific graphics? Thank you, KMNRuser
-
Yep, I realize that. But that does not address my initial question/statement, which is concerning the fact that when multiple labels are selected, the Label Properties button becomes greyed out. If the Label properties button is not selectable, you loose the ability to: use a transparent label background (or Not). to pick…

Thanks for the quick response.

Ryan I agree with what you have said about the best way to configure these alerts. My client whom I am configuring the alerts for does not see it that way, and wants to continue to check each interface. Who am I to argue? :)
