Use if the ITIL framework and business SLA's are also crucial. It needs to be an integrated effort from end to end with regular meeting with the various teams to improve and keep up with the changing environment. By helping the other teams do their job in turn gives them incentive to help us do ours...

Half the time I browse netflix they don't have what I am looking for or their selection is so mediocre. For somethings it is not so bad. The kids and grandkids seem to find stuff there all the time.

You pretty much hit up what fits in the realm of remote IT from what I have seen thus far in my IT career. About the only thing I could add there would be searching for rogue devices on remote networks (like wireless access points that shouldn't be there).

Not so much IoT here...The only BYOD accessible network is a "guest" network and you still must use a valid id/password to log in and after x number of hours you have to re-authenticate.
