probably you cannot export directly this out-of-the-box widget directle as CSV file. Try to create report for that case and schedule the report with defined desired action like below:

I'd suggest to restart all Orion services on Orion server (Programs > Solarwinds Orion > Orion Service Manager). If will not help then run Configuration Wizard for all items (database, website. services). If problem still exist then you have 2 options: 1. repair NPM installation from Control Panel > Uninstall Programs >…

You may try to configure rules and policy in NCM to follow up compliance you need. Go to SETTINGS>All Settings>Product Specific Setting section>NCM Settings and go to rules and policy management features.

I've seen duplicated nodes only when node (server) had multiple NICs with different static IPs or with some DHCP IPs. It looks as a result of some failure (or database corruption). Be careful when fixing or removal duplicated to keep relevance NodeIDs with other IDs in DB.

It is possible when you go to SETTINGS>All Settings>Orion Service Manager in Product Specific Settings section. Then you will get: Is that you look for?

I've installed Orion on many different SQL instances - some of them reported invalid collation. However I never met real problem with it. Very often MS SQL server you get for Orion installation is configured already and installed on different system language than English(US) and/or configured for different locales. From my…

The query looks good if you have custom property system defined in line , n.CustomProperties.system. Otherwise you'd get the error mentioned in your post. I'd suggest to instal SWQL Studio and test the query on the. When you type dot next to , n.CustomProperties then you will get the list of available options.

I'd suggest to make a backup copy of the folder xx:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\Reports\ before starting upgrade (just for any case). After upgrade all of your old reports should be still in that folder and you may use them from Orion Web console. If you would make fresh installation or transferring Orion to new…

Have you tried to recreate the user?

I'd suggest to check out polling settings for that server in node properties polling section, if there are proper settings for status polling and polling engine. It looks weird and I don't think it is a db issue - then will be more problems with other nodes as well. Maybe polling IP address (check if it is not DHCP) or…
-
I can add to @"sum_giais" that polling intervals for nodes is in [dbo].[NodesData] table. I'd advice to use Database Manager (Programs>SolarWinds Orion>Database Manager) or SWQL Studio to browse Orion db and create SQL/SWQL queries.
-
I'd suggest to have snmp walk on those APCs which not reported serial numbers to check if they use the same OIDs for SN as others (which report correctly). Maybe you need to use different custom pollers for those. And be sure what SNs you get - SNs of APCs themselves or SNs of management cards (net cards).
-
Create Modern Dashboard then add view by link and view number (like: ... /Orion/SummaryView.aspx?ViewID=xxx) to menu for user.

I'd suggest to restart all Orion services on Orion server (Programs > Solarwinds Orion > Orion Service Manager) - not from website. If will not help then run Configuration Wizard for all items (database, website. services). You may have a look at Orion logs (not UDT only) in ..:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\Logs folders to…

First idea I have is to add Custom Query widget and configure SWQL on the.

Hi @"dhinagar_j" is there any reason that you cannot switch polling method to ICMP polling?

You have 3 options, I think: * Go to Log Viewer and select Events then click on top right side button: EXPORT - you will get file with messages in CSV format (if you have LOG ANALYSER). * Create SWQL query for relevant messages as a report and export them to Excel. * Use OOTB report - "Last 250 Events" for example,…

Report Writer still exists in 2020.2 in ..\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion folder however no reports are distributed in ..\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\Reports folder if it is fresh installation. If you upgraded then you should have your reports in the folder ..\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\Reports and…

Maybe that would help: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/SAM-Documents/Tomcat-Server-Template/ta-p/526560

Are you sure you have the same IP addresses in the case described? Another question - did you clone any report or you have built it from scratch? Please add Node ID to the report to be sure you have exactly the same, duplicated nodes. Be sure that you have not specified any time period for the table. I have few ideas yet…

Your idea should be correct. But go to Orion website then SETTINGS>All Settings, then scroll page down to Details section and select Orion Platform Details. You may find there current numbers as below in red frame: So you may checkout how many elements you really monitor.

My last upgrade experience was from version 2019.4 to 2020.2 with moving MS SQL server to another machine (from virtual fo physical). So I can advice go with option 2. However my suggestion is to move SQL server first and run config wizard to ensure the platform is up-n-running. Then move Orion server. If you move Orion…

Go to Settings>All Settings>PRODUCT SPECIFIC SETTINGS section. Then select SAM settings and go to APPLICATION MONITOR TEMPLATES section. Then click on Create New Template and have fun . However I'd suggest to select one of existing SQL templates and modify it as you wish.
-
You may go to Edit Nodes - expand the list of interfaces and edit interface then change the name. It would change name in Orion only - not real interface name on node.
-
Try to check out settings for Network Discovery. My suspect is that Network Discovery has been scheduled to run and add nodes automatically. Otherwise ... Orion DB got recovered from backup or something like that

I never heard about that situation where (as I understand UnDP) SNMP poller crashed Windows. I'd suspect rather Microsoft updates made some changes in OS behaviour like sequence of starting services, coincidents od some services (their settings) ans applications running (or not running), etc. I'd suggest to rebuild the…

If you mean production as Orion platform modules then the answer is YES. You can install and run NTM without interfering.
