Have you tried to repair NPM installation from Control Panel > Uninstall Programs > Repair option (then Config Wizard)? If YES and didn't help then you may go to SQL Studio and check/edit relevant table for Orion accouts. Maybe there are some mismatch there. Anyway the last step I suggest is to assign Case Ticket for SW…

Hey, I have little different but similar question. As I remember that had to be one of advantages at NPM 10: log file with all changes done - who did what and when in Orion. I mean what guy made some changes in Orion: as changed view, add or remove node, add alert etc. Maybe I missed something but in fact I need that…

As I understand you have ISP in between your A and B locations. So if you get 75 Mbit and utilization 100% on the link then probably you have only 75 Mbit throughput rather then 100 Mbit. Does it make sense?

Thanks, I found that template before and tried but unfortunately "my" BizTalk is elder (probably 2009). Anyway it inspired me to make new template for "my" BizTalk. So I created new template with Performance Counter Monitors for BizTalk instance relevant for 2009. I may export the template to Thwack if anybody would like…

When I go to OID=1.3.6.1.4.1.334.72.1.1.4.4 (lnTotalRoutedMail) then I have info that it refers to 'Total number of mail messages routed since the server started'. But I'd like to have below: lnAverageMailSizeDelivered - OID=1.3.6.1.4.1.334.72.1.1.4.11 lnTotalKBTransferred - OID=1.3.6.1.4.1.334.72.1.1.4.18…

Solution was to truncate old Wireless and AM (prior to APM) tables at SQL server. Also truncated Syslogs Table. Then NetPerfMon database has been shrinked. SysLog error messages do not appear for last 3 days at Orion website.
-
I assigned Case # 112642 for Solarwinds regarding the problem. There is some observed rules: 1. "Related Syslog messages..." - looks ok when there is anything to display (if not - I got acceptable message "There are no SysLog messages") when selected time period is below "Last 24 hours". Otherwise red internal error code…

Thanks Sotherls, Probably your advice would help me with customizing tips but when I tried to open the link I got redirected to "http://my_orion/NetPerfMon/View.asp?NetObject=" Maybe that is "beauty" of my Orion installation. I will install SP3 and Hotfix 1 then go back to the issue.

I run all SW diagnostics available (SolarWinds.Diagnostics.DBResponse.exe and SolarWinds.Diagnostics.exe) and Permission checker. They gave me no answer why I have poor performance. So my suspect is still array connectivity, MS SQL server located on another subnet and physical connection via switches/firewalls etc. on…

Version no matters. I use newest and it is not any solution.

I can prove that it works for NPM 12.0 and fixes issues with Hardware Health without any action on IOS

I changed name and group so I'm not sure if it was 'Daily Availability Application' or 'Daily Availability Component' type but on top od Designer tab is title: 'Report Designer - Historical: APM - Daily Application Availability"
-
Has been taken from "APM: Daily Application Availability" group

Hi Malik, I've assigned 2 tickets for the same problem in fact: 1093183 and 1093218. My question is how to proceed to avoid the issue for the next time?

Thanks, I cutted all links and switched OFF switches and when server was really off then I've got the option :-)

It works in Edit map mode only (zoom in/out) by usage of CTRL+mouse wheel and save, I think. I didn't find option to setup zoom in percentage.
-
I created custom property for groups 'best_mixed_worst' with those 3 options (best/mixed/worst) but I cannot see any other choice than by None, Status and Name while showing 'All Groups' at website. There is no option to order by Group Custom Properties.

Brandon, I'd rather expect some more synthetic graph with total space used on all volumes with trend - something like: Would be much useful than reports.

Thanks for advices but still no progress. When tried to run APMservicecontrol.exe from Command Prompt then I got: ...\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion\APM>apmservicecontrol 6042 -c=START SolarWinds APM Service Control Connecting to localhost:17777 ...\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion\APM> When it runs from alert action then…

If you select the alert and then click on DUPLICATE & EDIT then you may edit trigger conditions and assigned actions: If youu cannot do this it means you use the account without relevant privileges.

The query you shown is in SWQL - not MSSQL. So that is the reason you got the error message while running in SQL Studio or Database Manager. Table you should refere in MSSQL have different names (dbname.dbo.NodesData - not Orion.Nodes etc.). Then I'd suggest to test your query in SWQL Studio, especially you are refering to…

Hi Michal, Regarding new CPE 2 examples if you want: 1. combination of more that 2 filters and column selection in Web CPE makes browser stuck and I need to go out from CPE then go back with cleaning filters to get nodes displayed as should be. 2. I need now to use 2 browsers opened on 2 monitors to have the same comfort…

Hi xfaulknor, I'd try to simulate alert execution with your settings while editing alert (there are 2 options - simulate=simulate and simulate=execute) and observe results. Maybe there are some issues with credentials you use or limitations applied?
-
That looks really weird, so please doublecheck Admin account settings: Maybe somehow Alert Management Rights has been set to NO or are there some limitations established?
-
Try to delete agent on Settings>All Settings>MANAGE AGENTS page or uninstall it on the node.
-
Unfortunately I cannot see any screenshots. Try to attach them by insert image option in Thwack. Thwack's way of inserting screenshots is really crappy

Hi, please test SNMP version and port (on NPM Web interface Node Details>Edit properties) as on below screenshot: Clickshare is simple device so I expect that it supports SNMP v1 or v2c and Community String is rather "public" as default for most devices. Username&Password you use is probably only for Web Manager of…

Hi alankar.srivastava, I got your point but please consider how SAM would show you Up or DOWN status if it is not polling the application (or node - if node is UNMANGED then any polling doesn't work on it). SAM simply didn't know the status while application was UNMANAGED - that works the logic and it reflects on chart. If…

If you have ALX license then you may not care about licenses used by components. Unmanaged nodes do not use (practically) any component monitors so it has no influence on performance of a poller. If you like to release licenses you may delete assigned monitors or disable all their components but ... I do not see a big…
