So, it is an interface traffic and availability report for business hours, business days and for nodes + associated interfaces with a naming convention. your SQL will include the entity history from the referenced tables but you would like to schedule this (like every Saturday and generate the report for that week only).…

You are looking at Events in the web reporter. You should be looking at Alerts.

Yup. That's it. p.s: You may want to download Greenshot for editing screenshots.

By "health", you mean space left in the disk volumes or if the disks are not degraded/failed, etc? If it's the former, then yes it is likely to work out of the box. If it's the later, unlikely.

These are templates for the legacy report writer. You will need to launch the Report Writer utility from the SolarWinds server, and import them from there.

very strange. Try deleting and re-adding the node. Try another windows account. If not, the best route is to open a support ticket.

It depends on how much information you don't want your team members to see other netflow information. In any case, search the admin guide for "directlink". That will most likely suffice for this purpose. It is a reserved account used to provide direct URL access without having to login.

These look like the logs on the SAM server. The list should be smaller on the target server (IIS server)

Is this an actual line in the config? md5-password cipher 10.110.0.8 aF[IS2n--KAZ)vC*}Bz1qCn# If so, the # character is being treated as the prompt, and is getting disconnected. Your options would be 1. use TFTP to transfer 2. Come up with a non-conflicting prompt string if Huawei supports such commands. You can find an…

I understand where you are coming from. So, the best way to think about this is in terms of the objects (the ones with a status that you can group, alert, etc) that are represented in Orion. The most common ones being Nodes, Volumes and Interfaces. CPU and Memory are node level attributes. So, is Asset Inventory. In…

P2000 and P6000 are completely different animals. P2000 is what HP used to call MSA. P6000 is what HP used to call EVA.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to design the trap variables yourself. This would have to be addressed in the product.

I see. I am assuming you have set the proxy details in the 'Use Proxy' setting. If the proxy also requires authentication, you must set the credentials for this component.

In that case, it is much easier to create a Yes/No type of Application custom property, and assign the appropriate value to your Application Monitors. Your alert suppression can then be based on the custom property instead of having to add each application in your alert trigger conditions.

Import the 2 report templates using report writer, then open them in the report writer and see all the tabs of the template

5 Polling Engines should still mean only around 100 GB in the long term assuming default retention periods. Data volume should not be your primary concern here for 5 polling engines.

Yea, cannot put a delay on the reset action. You can probably set the reset action to execute only between 7am-7pm.

NPM 11.5 or SAM 6.2 should be behaving the same from an alerting standpoint. Which version are you running?

Essentially, there can be any number of layers and the status of each map gets propagated up. Load each of the lower level maps in network atlas, right click and choose 'Map properties'. There is a 'slide bar' (about percentage of objects in the map that must be up/down to determine status). You can try sliding from 1…

Unless you want to monitor the usage of specific netapp volumes, this is not a good use case for SAM's Script Monitor. SAM's Script Monitor can return up to 10 numerical Statistics and optional associated Messages whereas your script is iterating through all the volumes. The list of volumes is not guaranteed to be the…

You shouldn't have to. All your earlier screenshots already show the OID 'Value' to be 'Healthy'. The issue lies somewhere else. Hence, the SQL query helps

Interesting. I am not seeing a mention in the release notes other than this line * An issue where Hardware Health monitoring was reporting incorrect values for ESX drives has been fixed. f, l, o, t aLTeReGo may be able to comment

Perfect. I recommend that you install the Orion standalone installer for Virtualization Manager (or leverage your NPM/SAM) to integrate with Virtualization Manager. You can then generate your reports using Orion web report See video #8 Network Performance Monitor (NPM) Core Training - YouTube There isn't really a way to do…
