The main issue is that binary configs are not readable like the text based configs so the support would be limited to backing up the configs. We are evaluating supporting this feature for binary configs in a future release.

Thank you for the clarification. The export to comma delimited file will always separate the fields by commas. I will add a feature request to be able to export to a csv file where the separators are based off the Regional Settings List Seperator setting.
