Tom Seems like we're missing something, and I feel as though it would be more efficient for you to contact Support. They can get you to export the whole alert and look at it themselves as opposed to troubleshooting on thwack, where it's a bit drawn out.

Yea I'd read that as well. I read another thread where someone had the same issue and changed the poller and it stopped going to unknown. Changed my poller as well and today it didn't go to unknown when managed again so I'm hoping that fixed it! Appreciate all the help

Are there any general guidelines for server specs? Separation of polling engine from DB always recommended? For 500+ elements, you should have a separate database. 

 

We had done that yesterday and we were still getting unmonitored traffic. Since then, I installed SP4 and gave it some time to settle back down. Seems like it's all gone now. I guess I put my foot in my mouth.
