Hey Timf, I had the same error with one of my maps and someone earlier in the thread suggested running the configuration wizard to repair the database, then re-applying the patch. I sent an email to support to confirm the error/fix but I have never heard back. Honestly it doesn't sound like the hotfix is doing any good so…

It should be fixed in 9.1 SP2.

IP SLA is definitely something we're thinking about.
-
That is 9.1. For uninteresting system reasons, we can't say "9.1" on the package.

I can't comment on what other vendors do. Our lawyers have looked at Google's contract and have concerns with us exposing our customers to license fees to Google. What we have focused our efforts on instead is a complete re-write of Map Maker. Google integration gives you something for a very specific mapping use case, but…

Tom Seems like we're missing something, and I feel as though it would be more efficient for you to contact Support. They can get you to export the whole alert and look at it themselves as opposed to troubleshooting on thwack, where it's a bit drawn out.

Yea I'd read that as well. I read another thread where someone had the same issue and changed the poller and it stopped going to unknown. Changed my poller as well and today it didn't go to unknown when managed again so I'm hoping that fixed it! Appreciate all the help

SP1 should help this problem, and it will be out shortly.

Hi glimbeek, The DPA software itself won't house the custom reports but does have a lot of stock reports you can utilize that were commonly requested, we tried to focus on performance analysis and tuning but we are always open to suggestions! If allowing customizable reporting in the application itself is something you'd…

What kind of cisco device are you trying to add ? I'am an newbie at using LEM but I can try to help you.

As to the "Orion v3" option, I can't connect that way because the server does in fact require an HTTPS connection. (And I got an error when I tried to connect via that option.) -Scott

It's coming soon, but not this quarter.

I gave up and went back to the old server 2003 and it works again..Not sure if it was with 2008 server or that VM but threw in the towel and backed out the change.. Bad part was I started this adventure to fix an issue where I couldn't manage nodes anymore.. Finally the support folks said it was related to the version of…

I attached the device pollers I created for F5. I had to rename the extension to .jpg becaue I was not able to attach using the undp file extension. I'm not sure if you will be able to get the attachemnt so if someone knows how to get the poller to him through this forum let me know. It looks like you can just clik on hte…

Thanks Karlo Is there some sort of ticket number or reference number or will I receive updates via this thread?

We've got the same issue here. Still using the old AM for the time being.

Looking for some help with the powershell add, as the CRUD.addnode samples for SDK v1.7 fail with NPM 10.6.3 SolarWinds Support recommended posting in this SDK as the blog has not gotten a response in 8 days. Using Powershell to add nodes with Custom Properties for Device Type The goal is to automate the add/removes…

If all the charts have these dropdown options once opened, then I consider my request to have them added to the Node, Interface, Volume or Application details page (as per the first post) less urgent, but still nice to have. Yes for VoIP. APM is only up to last 24 hours. APM seems the biggest problem.

No, it uses WMI to get the logs.

The change will be in the first SP, and we are working on it as fast as possible. As for making surprise changes, we had an unfortunate and unusual lack of communication (which, again, was my fault) so that this change to All Nodes is mentioned in the RNs, but the change to maps got left out. Next time we make a change,…

That works as well. It's now listing every node in the database, but the unmanaged dates are correct. Although some are in the past and ones that probably never had an unmanaged time set ever just show 12:00AM to 12:00 AM (no date). So if we can somehow just modify that so that it only lists ones that are currently…

Roger, The report works great for most things, what I've noticed however is that when I insert some custom pollers no details appear in the report, even though it's definetly being collected. One of the things that doesn't show up is CiscoFlashDeviceSize - EC378A32-8A13-4B0A-8B5F-2C4215CE707E, would you know why? Is it a…

Dont meen to seem pushy, but we have an inspection coming up in a month and was wondering when the RC might be released? Thanks Darrell
-
That would be great! We have to go through an inspection once a year and its a pain to manually STIG 500+ devices. Thanks again Darrell

The Summary is working, but not when you click on the message types or severety types. What's not working? If there is functionality we've lost, it's something we need to fix. What other problems are you have with the new Syslog page?

mezdem, When I apply your suggestions, SQL throws the error "The conversion of a nvarchar data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range value.". If I omit the code changes marked in bold the report executes as expected for all nodes. Here is the complete SQL. This may help better understand what I'm trying…

Are there any general guidelines for server specs? Separation of polling engine from DB always recommended? For 500+ elements, you should have a separate database.

We had done that yesterday and we were still getting unmonitored traffic. Since then, I installed SP4 and gave it some time to settle back down. Seems like it's all gone now. I guess I put my foot in my mouth.
