Service Packs = bug fixes. We do not add features in service packs. The feature you are referencing is not in the next release (which is feature complete and in testing phase). We'll consider it for the next release.

I am finally getting the RealTimeChange configuration download to work with just using the message severity (notice) and Message Facility (Syslog message) enabled for a specific host IP. But when I try to enter a message type pattern or syslog message pattern in with SYS-5-CONF it doesn't work. Can some show me exactly…

Hello, Did this get resolved? Please let me know how it was? Thank You Terry

gabrielbaudino, You might want to mark the answers which helped as correct/helpful. This will make it easier for other users if they encounter the same issue as yours. Thanks!

Done, got 132 rows, all of which are marked True for CanInvoke. Do you want to see all the rows? And if so, can I send the CSV, or should I just dump 'em in here?

You can certainly try, but as always, I make no promises. ;-)

here you go

* Works great but I can't figure out how to remove the default CPU and Memory gauges from F5 network web displays. I have the new ones displaying but the old ones are still there.

Thanks Karlo. I'm going to do exactly that.

Hello Christine, Any update on the release of NCM with the DISA Stig built in? Also, Could I possibly get a DISA Stig template I could load into my current NCM if the new release is going to be a while? Thanks Darrell

We fixed this in 9.0.

Hey, guys. We have an open bug for this issue, but we actually haven't been able to reproduce internally because our devices don't have the problem, and we've had some trouble getting access to to customer devices. So, if one of you would open a ticket and reference this thread, we would need to get more data from your…

You are correct that SNMP was not removed from vSphere. That's not our problem. You can still access some MIBs. The problem is that in 4.0, VMware is not populating the MIBs that Orion used in ESX 3.5. To be completely sure, we just re-checked our work, and we get the same results: The memory and networking information we…

Hi Roger, it turns out some of my pollers were saving data as Rate and not RAW, Rate put the data into a column on SQL called Rate and RAW puts the data into the Status column, I changed it to RAW and they all appear in the report, thanks mate. Dave

Denny, anything on the long load times of the System Manager? You have 5900 and 10,000 elements polled by your servers, respectively. System Manager is on the same thread as those elements. It's not going to load quickly. Are you doing anything on System Manager that couldn't be done on the web console, which would avoid…

Ah the page actually does some other stuff on the physical click. This uses the jQuery library to emulate the click. http://www.jspaste.com/?id=341 Use that on the bookmark instead of the other big one. First time you run it, it will select all NEW objects (properly), and if you run it again it will deselect.

Trust me, I'm aware that this feature has been requested for a long time. We're definitely in a position to make this change now, in a way we haven't been before, for technical reasons. It's something we're actively working on, which is the most I can say about when it'll ship because I don't have firm dates yet.

I absolutely agree, it has knocked me out of tender response also due to this limitation on the licensing model I am not trying to build a centralised Solarwinds environment where I will invest early in the unlimited modules, and then let customers pay me to monitor their environment over remote links In the end, it…

Samuel, Do you have a Support ticket? We'll be entering a customer acceptance phase either today or tomorrow where Support gives it to customers with issues. GA might be next week. Denny

Operating System Microsoft Windows NT 5.2.3790 Service Pack 2 Hey NG, this doesn't have anything to do with the topic of this thread but have you noticed the bug with the Polling Engine Status? I'll be surprised if you are running "Microsoft Windows NT 5.2.3790 Service Pack 2" on your main polling engine. My guess you are…
