I like that Mark!

Can you get petrol where you are? everywhere has run out in Somerset.

I think @"bshopp" must have been somewhere with a dodgy signal when he replied to this thread. It seems to have malfunctioned.

I feel you. I've never been busier what with moving house and discovering a 2nd world war UXB in the field next to us. I don't get much time to chat on here as much as I used to. It's still a useful place for me to come and see what others are doing. We have all been through a lot over the last few years. Some of us had…

Hi Stuart, Yes i'm UK based. Down in a beautiful part of Somerset now. I used to be up in Nottingham. I have visited Timperley. It is a small world. My wife is from Kimberley in Nottingham so its lucky we didn't move there. Happy to help if you need someone UK based just to chat to about SolarWinds. @"silverbacksays" and I…

Yeah I agree sounds like a great idea. We should definitely have more SWQL stuff/training along with more ready made SWQL templates.

Hi Tony, SolarWinds support resolved this for me. Case # 00966972 Earle Justin "Jay" Carlos It was a while ago now. I had numerous issues because my installation stopped mid-upgrade and it never fully completed. Once we ran the upgrade again with all the services stopped it worked. I'm sure Jay will remember more about…

Anyone to help regarding this? Are there any planned updates to fix this issue?
-
In the end - all I had to do was go to the Orion SQL server and right click properties for the MSSQLSERVER process. There I changed the UID/PW for that service. Noting for future bread crumb trail!
-
When I went into the Configuration Wizard - I could not spot this service account. If I log onto the Solar Winds SQL server it is there as Logon for MSSQLSERVER. (It's also used for NTA but less critical.) Any thought on where I could change that?
-
Thanks Mitch, I'll certainly look into your suggestion.

Pulling my hair out with this. I don't understand why Solarwinds make it so bloody hard to perform something so simple - backup of a device! I've lost hours on this now, going through debug traces and XML files, I simply cannot get NCM to pull the backup of a context. I have the below line in the XML: <Command…
-
Thank you for the reply, that's useful. Does this script still work for you against ASAs when on the latest version of NCM?
-
That is exactly what I was needing! Thank you!
-
That's a big help. I wondered why that would get listed as a resource and then I'd never see them again. Thank you.
-
Hello. I have the exact same problem. Do you have a solution for this?
-
Thanks. I made some progress there. Creating a KPI widget in a modern dashboard and adding his SWQL queries it displayed the numeric value for what appears to be current active GP tunnels. But I didn't see an option for KPI widget to display the data as a graph over time. Do you know if KPI widgets should be able to…

Nice one Jez! Be free, live long and prosper!
-
The widget I am using is the Multiple Universal Device Pollers Chart. As I note there's no link on it to Perfstack.
-
Thank you. Yes. Within the Node Details page I was able to add a graph of active sessions having added a certain widget. But there is no place on that widget to then open Perfstack as there are for most of the other widgets on that page. So then I tried to go about it another way - opening Perfstack and creating a new…

I'm having a similar error with adding a user. If anyone can help me i'd be very happy.

Did this ever get fixed? I'm getting a few alerts that don't accept the view limitation, such as SRM, Azure and the SolarWinds Licensing alerts. See this view? The view is limited to the serv on the left and i'm still getting alerts from SRM pools on the right...
-
Was this ever resolved? I have a view here, that i have a view limitation on specifed for the SERV on the left only... and it cut down about 99% of the alerts but i'm left with SRM, Azure, and SolarWinds licensing alerts in my active alerts resource. Any ideas to make my view limitation work? I don't want to use alert…

Thanks, I will check creds out.
-
Appears to be fine... hmmmm
-
Will try that thanks.
-
Not that I can see they look good. There was replication issues to start with but i'm assured they have been fixed. All green!
-
Yes it appears okay. When I test it the creds check out.

I have this very question too. :)
