I second this. Nexsan is gaining in popularity, and we really need support especially for the E60. Please let us know if this is on the roadmap.

I can see your logins and the symptoms of the failure (I see some others, too), but I am still unsure of the cause (let alone a solution). What do you see from netstat on your end connected to the demo (a:c is 74.115.12.122)? I have three connections in a successful login. TCP <myip>:59860 74.115.12.252:80 ESTABLISHED TCP…

Hey xandurr, We take the list of all eligible participants for a given prize (eligible means they correctly answered all questions), and use a random name picker to choose the winner.

We just finished a project on data center consolidation by closing a datacenter, We had 90% of physical server and at the end of project we now have just 3 Physical servers(may be <5%). As a sole DBA, need face lot of challenges and we had a mix on using VMware P2V process & CommVault Backup(Physical) & Restore(Virtual)…

tricky question today, was pretty sure i answered it correctly but it was marked as wrong.

I like how you see the glass half-full .

jemertz, the mission accomplished points will be awarded on Monday. The March mission points on Friday. For both I am going to post an update on the respective thread.
-
shartz, I think we will need to ask you guys to post pictures of you wearing the sweatbands, otherwise we are missing half the fun
-
hanif.solarwinds, while I do understand your position, by doing this, we would exclude people who are eligible to win prizes, but don't actually win. There are still plenty of opportunities to get more points here on thwack, which benefits both you and the community.

We added the Adobe DC catalog to the list, so if you run the Update Configuration Wizard you should see both the "Classic Track" and "Continuous Track" appear in the list. I'll have to take a look at Adobe Reader 12, I don't see that one yet. OIC - it looks like DC supersedes 12, so we're all good. I'm going to mark this…

You Guys really need to work on the Ticket Reporting as its Un usable. Data are wrongly represented. Its so confusing that even you tech support is confused.
-
This requires some considerable consideration
-
Yes, I am also of the view that it would be ideal to have one FCAPS that can deliver all. But in practice companies prefer multiple owing to the strength of point solutions.
-
I would like to know a timeline of when some of these new features will be available? Our area is really struggling to get "Work orders" functioning with this product. We are trying to use action rules and tasks together to have looping with email rules to generate new tickets but it is extremely frustrating because we…

I've got several doozies to tell, but I'll pick just one. I was working the support queue one day (this was when I first started out in IT) when an internal customer called in, stating she had received an automated message about how her password to a training database was about to expire... Yes, the conversation you are…

robertcbrowning tomiannelli that was a glitch in our platform used for these missions. It's fixed now. Thanks for pointing that out, btw!

I agree with chrispaap: There is no possibilty to monitor load of the ESXi GPUs other than ESXi cli with gpuvm or nvidia-smi. We have needs for: - GPU-Utilization (for each core) - Memload used/free - Processes running on GPU (VMs) Some problems for us: - VDI Admins don't have access to ESXi CLI (only local ESXI users can…

No worries, you didn't miss anything.

Visual-Regex does this for the compliance portion of NCM. If you are looking for the comparison criteria, it's not documented and uses a different regex engine. Here is the link for the Windows flavor of it, if you run Linux it's in your package manager, if you use Mac, download Fink and install the package. Visual REGEXP…

This was common until we deployed SolarWinds and it showed us where to fix our networking, storage, and alerting issues.

It would!

I can't speak for solarwinds on an ETA, but most of the flash vulnerabilities we've seen require you to run unsafe flash applications (or videos, for that matter) or for your flash applications to interact with things like files and media. There's pretty limited exposure from something like LEM's console because it's a…

After the tough ones from earlier, it's nice to have a little break
-
Nah, just edit it to request support for Bind DLZ zones.

I am more having an issue of how to ignore all of those interfaces in the first place. When I have 300 windows servers, going through and manually checking each interface is not very appealing.
-
Hey guys, you will want to keep an eye out for the next release/release candidate's scheduled searches - it might be an option for working around this. With scheduled searches you'll be able to have the appliance export and email you the results, and it'll be able to do more than shipping them off to the Console. We've had…

Intelligent mapping is definitely the way to go. I love creating diagrams but if Solarwinds will do it for me and I never have to touch Network Atlas again i'll be glad. Trying to align all the text and the icons makes me sad. I am finding more and more that I just use network atlas for displaying groups on dashboards. I…

I think that became like a mantra for lots of folks here on thwack and beyond. Good luck with the rest of the questions!
