ashley.heilbronn@lr.org, you know how they say "Good things come to those who wait"? Just keep your eyes peeled on THWACK.

That makes the two of us Christopher.

I almost forgot how summer feels like, with the weather around here

If you're looking at day 7's question, the actual literal word does not appear on the hint page. It does appear on the product page I linked and other pages. A form of it appears on the hint page itself, but not the literal word You could replace the word 'combine' with a form of the word in the sentence of the question,…

I posted something about this here: Re: Alerting using #Slack It is not a true integration, but it works.
-
Thank you, this solved my doubts!!

Actually, we're just using thwackSpeak here, so you should be careful about the word choice.

Hey guys, Just a small update, letting you know that 250 points went to your account if you completed the survey. Happy Friday!

True, OSS is central to SDN functioning, however merely having OSS does not mean that one has SDN. OSS is much more generalized term.

Addition or re-word to the request: Would you rather have the true wait type be shown (cpu, I/O, etc.) rather than the top wait of a parallel query as cxpacket?

It can be very frustrating. In fact, our Windows server team asked me to be alerting if space utilization on the C: partition changes too quickly as the OS partition should be stable since no application write to it. The security team put strict controls in place on the c: drive as the OS partition is the most likely…

This is a concern for all and impacts our everyday lives. Beyond the incredible efforts companies go through to protect themselves, we can't even swipe a credit card at a store without worrying about the risk these days!

Hey guys, Thanks a lot for sharing your stories. This campaign is now closed. You can expect points to be added to your profiles by the end of this week.

I agree with no privacy in the workplace but it should be expected. I can't tell anyone what to do with their own personal equipment and that's why I don't like BYOD. The whole point of issuing a laptop or mobile device it to enable the company to dictate down to the end-user. No one should have a problem with this, the…

fazl-e-azeem, awesome! You're one step ahead of me.

Ours is somewhat of a combination method. We use both SCCM 2012 and WSUS. Our test group gets patches first before we approve for everything. Additionally, our servers are broken down into two groups, and auto-patch and a non auto-patch. The non auto-patch are unfortunately done manually during the maintenance window.…

Hey guys, I'll have a look. It seems there's some issue with this question. Hang tight!

Unfortunately, I cannot see your personal ranking, but it does seem a bit odd to drop that many places over a week. I will look into this.
-
Just a heads up, points have been added to your profiles. As usual, feel free to contact me if you think you're missing some points.

I love the first Lab episode! Happy birthday, thwack.
-
Love the Galactus reference in today's question. My admiration to the keepers of thwack for their creativity today. Side note: I had hoped to break 10k points before the new year, but alas on 12/31 I had 9992. At least I hit over the weekend with a couple of likes lol.

No. There aren't that many submissions yet so I can keep track of who answered what, so I'll keep this in mind when I make the drawings and award the points.

Is the EMC XtremIO on the roadmap ? are you planning to do so?
-
akiebach, it is 9 indeed. I updated so it reflects this. Good luck, I'm sure you'll get it right!

I'm going to leave this regular feature request here because we do still want to register votes on replacing reporting, but I wanted to mention that (as mentioned in the What We're Working On) we're also working on implementing scheduled searches in nDepth in an upcoming release candidate. If any of you are available to…
