Hi, can you first check and see which event log the events are being logged in on the print server?
-
There should be a feature request for this over in Log & Event Feature Requests for this, though I couldn't find one with the same search terms - right now there's no restriction within LEM to do this natively.

This link no longer works i'm experiencing this issue, my reports despite specifying last month are not displaying the whole of the previous month. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hi vino.pandu92@gmail.com, Please have a look at this thread, maybe some of the information there can be useful for you. Kind regards, Maria

We're working on 9.6 now. I can't give you a date for that feature. I don't want you to leave us, but providing a feature and a date is not something I can do. And even thought we're working on it, I can't promise it'll be in 9.6. Is your team bored? Because the open source solutions that I know will give them plenty to…

I was seeing a similar issue on our Cisco 5508 using code version 8.2.141.0. In my case I was only seeing our 3802 APs go down (our 3702s were not affected). In our case we were getting hit by bug CSCvc40470 . After upgrading our WLC to code version 8.2.151.0 the problem ceased.

Per this post on the cisco forums, looks like the 7821 puts out CS & SCS but not MOS/MLQK. - https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/13018881/cmr-k-factor-mlqk-differ-different-ip-phone-models Per this link – these phones no longer support KFactor.…

Just wanted to add that Cisco's IP SLA information is something we're looking to be able to collect and graph for some VoIP installations. Brian

I'm in the same boat, I've tried a multitude of advanced alert configurations. Testing the alert through the test feature works, but I have yet to get a FC port down state on one one of our Brocade Silkworms to trigger an actual alert.

Mike, We just went through the process of importing around 3000 devices. What worked for us was to add the devices in manageable batches of similar device types using Network Discovery. We would add ALL interfaces found on these devices (Up, Down, and Administratively Down) then query the Interfaces table in SQL for the…

You want to sum the row, and that's not possible in 9.0. Good news: This will be possible in the next version.
-
Hello, I found the issue. I had to change the password assigned to the account in the AD/LDAP section of the Administration portal. Thank you typhoon87 for the info.

APM 3.0 has 3 levels of application grouping. Download and upgrade. That's just one of many new features.
-
Josh, Do you have ballpark pricing for any of these management packs? I'm looking for very rough budgetary pricing ideas. I like what I'm seeing and want to make sure to get it approved. Thanks, Brian Weigle

Any chance the switch is a Cisco 3750 model? A bug exists in the 3750 series IOS. If this is what you are experiencing, check out this post.

I too am seeing issues with reports that are no longer applied to schedules and alerts that are not firing at our secondary site. I have indefinitely postponed the upgrade of our main production site until more of these problems shake out... This doesn't come at a good time for SW right now in my company as we've got a…

UnDP's are based off the node or interface statistics collection interval.

Looks like you're having WMI permissions issues. I'd recommend working with this first: http://www.solarwinds.com/support/apm/docs/APMWMITroubleshooting.pdf

sweet... how can I get a black password?

NPM and APM must be on the same server. It's not an option at this time. You need a license for NPM and a license for APM. If you want NCM on a separate server, that's fine, and you do not need an additional license of NPM. Did you want NPM and APM on separate servers? If so, why? We might be able to address the problem.

In Orion v9.5, you can add ICMP-only objects.

I also have had this occur on 2 occassions that I am aware of. Angela

How are you discovering resources?

Good luck getting this to work. I have been trying to get this to work (external program) for months - to no avail. I have tried all tips/tricks posted on Thwack... I have been working with senior support folks who said that this is being looked at by development and I am waiting on the edge of my seat for a fix/work…

I suggest that you start with a node chart added to the node details page. Do that instead of a summary chart. Once you have what you want on the node details page, then do the summary.
-
I'm not sure what you mean about only one node. Which version of APM are you running? APM 2.5 includes an Active Directory template. There is a Citrix template on Thwack. You can build an SMS template by browsing to the target server with the WMI counter browser.

Kirpantin, Please open a Support ticket. You should be able to see all the data in this circumstance. If you are hitting a bug, we'll want to collect some detailed diagnostics from you to help resolve the problem. Denny

My first idea would be that you need to check the credentials for vCenter and the rights in vCenter for the user that you have configured. Does that user have rights to view all ESX hosts, clusters and so on?

Orion NPM doesn't currently support SQL Server 2008. We do support SQL Server 2000 or 2005. Depending on the size of your Orion, you may be able to use SQL Express 2005, available from Microsoft.
