We haven't upgraded our hosts to 5.0 yet, but our vCenter has been upped from 5 to 5.1 and don't have any connectivity issues.

Surely a device like this doesn't require monitoring, with it being ruggedized, tamperproof and high security. On second thoughts try "public" for the public snmp string.

windows has issues with the virtualized interfaces in that every reboot will give it a new ID so if you click on list resources and see the same interfaces in there again just not checked for monitoring you can bring them in but this will happen everytime the server is rebooted. the ones that dont change are the physical…

Maybe an additional 3rd party program is needed such as Lansweeper? Seems silly to gather all this info without the license keys. They've got to be here somewhere...

Thanks guys! The software inventory report is very useful, however I'm missing one crucial piece... The actual licenses of the software that's installed. I fiddled around with the reports for a while but couldn't find the actual license keys. Does anyone know where I can find those? Thanks so much - P

 The old versions are no longer available. The Admin Guide and the Release Notes provide details about what's available in APM.

For now, they're still local to each Orion. We may add centralized alerts in a future release.

You could always use an A record or a C NAME in DNS to point to the solarwinds url...

No, sadly there's a lot of clicking in your future. This is a good idea, though. Some sort of button that shows the cross-references that this object has or where it's used, which you do see sometimes in (good) firewall config UIs.

Setting it so that when using Solarwinds on an iPad it's permanently the full site view. Having this as a user option "Always show full site on a mobile device" would be great. Constantly clicking on Show Full Site gettings annoying. Thanks

Never mind - found the issue. My original view contained 2 Node Status resources broken into Location1 and Location2. Location2 had a filter assigned so as to restrict what it saw. When I added the two new Orions the second resource showed the new Orions checked under Filter By Orions. I had to uncheck the new Orions and…
