There are two intervals, status and statistics. Universal Device Pollers use the statistics interval. If you increase the statistics interval, you'll still be checking devices and interfaces being up more often. For each sample period, each instance has a min, max, and average value. APM takes the max of all maximums and the min of all minumums, and it averages across all of the instances.

You can unmanage a device, which will suppress alerts.

There is a bug in v8.5 where trapvarbinds doesn't get cleaned up. I would recommend that you upgrade to NPM 9.1 SP3 to eliminate the problem.

What page do you want to display it on? You can always go to Admin > Manage Views to add custom poller resources. The UnDP GUI isn't the only way to to do it.
