I got it sortet out. I took the faulty servers into Maintenance Mode and then gave them a reboot. And well, that worked. So a reboot seems to heal strange problems not only on Windows Machines. I'd like to know if this also helped you.

This is funny. I just found my cd from a notepager pro purchase back in 2003 for the old solarwinds server! :) I have the same question, but as I understand it, VM's cannot access serial ports of the physical machine. So we're kinda screwed I think.

check your SNMP client and make sure it is the same as the ones this is working on. Seems newer servers with virtualized interfaces are having more issues with SNMP than older ones that do not virtualize the connections.

I'm having the same issue. Just finished upgrading to 5.0.1 and cannot login to the application console. I *am* able to login to the admin portal (:5480).
