No gotchas. It's just a server on steroids. If you're thinking the blade series, that's a serious waste of money unless it will be virtualized. Otherwise, you can get a hefty system for a decent price on the C series (rack mount version).

What does your search look like? How far back, how large is the result set when it finally completes? Depending on how you form the search query, it changes how hard LEM has to search for it. For example, the Refine Fields you see are faster than a bare text search.

I have just recently seen a similar issue when using SNMPv3. It was odd because it worked for a month and then it randomly stopped collecting data for the interfaces.
