The traffic within the cache on the router if it is, the only problem that I see is that the data are in the BD not traslate the website block netflow. Sorry, can you explain a bit more? Maybe some screenshots would help.

I've used Jacarta products before and found them to be reliable and easy to configure within solarwinds. Jacarta Environmental and Power Monitoring Solutions for IT Environments

Hi Chip, To Marks point below, we have some feature requests for this specifically. As a Product Management team we HIGHLY value feature requests that are requested by our existing customer base and the voting for a feature request is one way to show us at SolarWinds how important a specific feature is to the customer…

check your link you use to open the website and see if it has /login at the end of the link. remove it if it does and then the domian login should take over.

Thx to aLTeReGo and SamuelB who clearly know more about server authentication than someone who can rarely spell BGP. Domain membership of the server and trusted sites did it...

Can you give us some more detail?

I'm using an admin account on the windows server. This also happens to my sql and iis service. the only thing I can monitor is the port of the above services. Image 1: Is the WMI credentials different from the administrator account of the Server? Image 2: MS SMTP Monitor Network connection failed even though it was able to…

I have the same issue. I have been using The SolarWinds tools sets for years now and Orion Web enable for the last 2 years. We are a 100% Nortel shop here and support for Nortel products has always been unsatisfactory. We just know that at least half of the tools in the tool set will not work with the Nortel products. Its…

The "has changed" operator doesn't work with any APM data, so that's your problem. I can't think of how to do what you're trying to do without a script. If you had a script, you could generate any statistic you want, such as, number of files added in the last 5 minutes.

All good feature requests. Most are already in the system and under consideration. I added the couple that were new.

Concerning request #9, that should work today. As long as both pollers are assigned to the node(or interface) you should be able to do that. Are you talking about unrelated pollers? Something that may help, we support using the various ${} macros, including {$SQL: } ones.

What you could do is use a resource like this and drill to a location that you want to be the default for your Worldwide map. This will give you the Latitude and Longitude at the bottom. Then, edit the Worldwide Map, expand the Advanced section and copy and paste the Latitude and Longitude settings into the Map Latitude…

You probably need to find the right the log path. "alert" isn't a facility, it's a priority, so I think you're missing the other half - it's most likely one of the local facilities, or something like user.log. if it's something you're syslogging, though, you might be able to press the "Scan for New Nodes" button and go…

I got this working. As it turns out I had the conditions of the trigger in the wrong order. Once I fixed that it worked fine.

Just for future reference I found out the problem in my Juniper config... The security-name throughout the config has to match the username. And also make sure your MIB view is correctly configured.
-
There isn't a way to do that with the current version. I'll add that to the list of features to consider for future releases.
-
We'd like to see out of the box NPM support for Aerohive as well. We use custom pollers and custom reports to show active users, but it would be much nicer to see the standard views populated with this data as well.
-
might try just using ${NodeName} if that does not give desired effect then try this... ${SQL: Select Nodes.SysName FROM Nodes WHERE Nodes.NodeID = ${NodeID}} hope one of those works for you.

NTA 1.0 does not support view limitations; however, that is feature we will be adding in an upcoming release. Denny LeCompte Sr. Product Manager, Orion SolarWinds

Sorry, not without a script.

Can anyone help with this? I'd also like to silently install this app with eitther SMS or GPOs? thanks Dave

Data older than a week is compressed into 24-h increments. All of the information about the flows is still there except the exact time specific NetFlow packets were received. Data older than a week would tell you how much data when from Endpoint 1 to Endpoint 2 using Protocol X on a given day.

There is a solution pending. The reason we can't do it today is that we rely on the Windows trap service with doesn't support SNMPv3. Our plan is to use our recently-acquired Kiwi Syslog/Trap service for Orion, and Kiwi doesn't leverage the Windows trap service. We will add SNMPv3 to Kiwi and add Kiwi to Orion.

RiOS version 4 from Riverbed now has direct netflow export capabilities.

Hi. What I do is have a series of key words in the interface description. If it is for an agent, we ignore it - we don't "do" port level management for users. However, in our description to any uplinked switches or other managed devices, such as servers, we add /* UPLINK TO XYZ @ IP ADDRESS / INTERFACE */ and create a…

We use Expand Networks accelerators. It supports Netflow directly, so we get the Netflow from the accelerator rather than from the Router.

When you say NTA is "not quite to the level we need", what do you mean? What's missing? We're aggressively developing this product, so please let us know what you need.
