We're aware of both of these problems, and we're working on an SP2 that addresses them.

Hi wesselp, Could you please tell us the ticket number you logged? Thanks!

All three items you listed would be a huge benefit. I recently joined a company and I was tasked with implementing patch management in our Data Center and remote sites and these three items are the great features that the product needs. I have been patching servers that have been in the field for 3+ years that have never…

Just a comment on the 2.1 vs. 2.1.1 issue - there was a problem in the files uploaded initially and we had to quickly correct them. We decided to increment the version in case someone had inadvertently downloaded 2.1.0 in the small window before we found the issue.

Hey Mark, a couple things. Before I get started, the only reason this was re-posted was to move to a new Roadmap/What We're Working On system we're implementing on Thwack. This isn't actually new content, it's the same thing Kevin posted on the Product Blog... yes, we're talking 2013/2014. These posts generally get updated…

Answered - the export reports should go into the default download directory of the client browser being used. That wasn't happening, but is now. Not sure what I fixed - but if it works, that's all to the good. --Geff

hmm that is odd, wonder why they decided not to add that. Anyway, we pre-configure all of our aggregation routers, so we know well in advanced what the future subnets are going to be, since this are all /30s, the network discovery tool will be nice as long as we don't have to scan a whole /16 everytime but just a bunch of…

Happy to help as well as we have gotten this working on our own for a long time using the ISDN MIB and Solarwinds Poller for UNDP and then building our own JQUERY with WIJIMO for reporting this information. Meanwhile, we would prefer native integration..but here's a demo of what it looks like. All of these are Cisco 3845's…

you can import into the custom propety editor, however I do not think that is what you are looking for!

This is really a Cisco question. Here's what I found from checking out Cisco's site: www.cisco.com/.../technologies_white_paper0900aecd802a0eb9_ps6601_Products_White_Paper.html

This turns out to be a bug in the application. The GUI to add a user to the watch list requires a domain account (DomainName\Account or account@DomainName) or it won't let you add it. However, when you check on accounts that were added by using the 'Search for Username in the Watch List page and it finds multiple accounts,…

One of the big difference is auditing and reverting change states. LEM relies on the events to tell you something has changed, whereas server change auditing products tend to do regular checks that may be augmented with log data. With that, they can tell you what the value used to be at different times, who changed it, and…

That would be very nice!!

If we allowed you to create a simple script, would that be a satisfactory solution?

Are you using Hyper-V? There's a known issue with multi-processor VM's and Hyper-V. Check out this MS page for more details. The solution proposed in the blog(and we've had customers tell us that it did resolve their problem) is to use the /usepmtimer flag in boot.ini.

Using 9.1 I don't see where you can "assign" an alert to a node specificially. You can configure something like it in triggers but the database doesn't hold 'alerts-to-nodeid' type of values. You can do a SQL query to list your alerts and their triggers but not really against each node - that I can see.

i am having the same problem with a cisco 3750. I know that my settings for the community string etc are correct. I have just opened a ticket about this issue. Wcq-admin did you manage to find a solution to the problem? Cheers Chris

What kind of UCM reports are you looking for? Something like these screenshots of a UC app? http://db.tt/Jwa6I1o http://db.tt/0n39Zat http://db.tt/v2lmSx7

If you upgrade to NPM 10.3 you have the option for 'Custom Node Table Poller' within the advanced alert type of property drop down. This will give you an option for Label within the conditions so you can specify the row within the table.

Further to my question, I have discovered I can set a trigger called "has changed". This would allow me to monitor the eigrp table and alert when the table changes. However, when I look at the custom poller options I cannot see an option for the whole dataset (the table). Which option is it? Thank you for your help

TTL is correct. When agents first connect, they exchange certificates with the LEM appliance/manager. Going forward, they use these certs and a secure-only communication channel. If an agent is deleted from the LEM appliance/manager's listing, the manager forgets the certificates and the agent entirely, but the agent…

what kind of device is it? I would create a report or a view that shows the interface traffic received and sent.

In an older version of SW I had to restart all my servers after adding custom properties to be able to use them anywhere. Thankfully, that is no longer the case in a more recent version. Brent

I have the same issue. I have capped the log file to 30GB so we can run the Netflow service until we hit the log file limit. Typically this gives us 30-45 mins. I have a case open and am awaiting help. Let me know if you find out anything and I will do the same.

I am looking for the same. Then NetApp Filers seem to have all the data for disk space used, percent used, etc..Why can't SWinds get us that data. If Orion can't so anything with the table, why not poll the individual elements of the table, and give us the same types of disk space statistics that we get with windows…

Awesome info, thanks!

The resource just asks for the last 25 based on time. If no new events come in, the list won't change.

I'm getting the same error with regards to emailing in csv format. The PDF function has never worked on our server. Emailing the CSV would save me a ton of time exporting the data and emailing it manually.
