lord_haw, I love to get the temperature OID from you to create the temps. I have a few that we need to monitor.

We have a gamut of Nortel ERS 4548 PWRs. What sorts of info are you getting from them? Do you do any alerting on uplinks going down? What about power on restarts? I have NO useful info.

To be more specific, to remove this extra tab locate the My Computer c:\\->Inetpub-> Solarwinds folder. In C:\InetPub\SolarWinds Locate any instances of a wireless module folder and delete them. Refresh the Web browser and that should clear out the extraneous tab.

thats strange, I didn't run into that problem when I built the poller and added it to the node details page. Check the table properties by clicking on the edit button on the web page. Make sure "All" rows are checked. For best results for me I ONLY checked the days, minutes, hours in the section "Select tabular Universal…

I too tried just about everything that seemed to make sense to try. I ran out of ideas and started trying things that didn't make sense. I found something that fixed it for me. I clicked on edit, then unchecked the first column that is to be displayed, the one that has the word -Label in the column name. Don't worry that…

Sure, it all starts with a MIB Walk, or MIB View, etc. I used the MIB Walk in the Engineer Toolset to target my ASA's internal interface. I found the section of OID's that showed RAS sessions and IPSEC Sessions. I found both remote access clients and ipsec tunnels under the crasGroup of OID's. Once i found them I saw the…

Hey syncopix, Would you mind posting the ticket number? Thanks!

Here's the deal. I'm a blackberry guy myself, and I understand why it would be cool, but the problem is that the Blackberry browser is not standard and hard to work with. Apple's introduction of a real browser on the iPhone has put tremendous pressure on RIM (and everyone else) to get a real browser in their smart phones.…

This is amazing! Thank you everyone! My local time is one hour off for some reason. Any idea how I can add 1 hour to the local time. Apologies but I'm a total SQL noob.

Well, I just added a WLC to NPM 10 and I'm seeing the same thing.. It appears as a node in NPM but does not appear in the Wireless section. Am I supposed to see the LWAPP APs the moment I add in the WLC, or do I have to add in the LWAPP APs individually as well?

Just thought I'd reply to this since I have the exact same error, and I'm *also* using this to capture data from an Avaya phone system. The problem in my case was that under Inputs > TCP, I had set the "Bind to address" field to the IP of my phone system, but that's not correct. I removed the address from that field and…

Your best bet is to give them a demo on the demo site and send them a link to the datasheet. https://www.solarwinds.com/resources/datasheet/datasheet-network-performance-monitor-npm

Useful thankyou.

Monitored elements exceeds my license level, but where? This is definitely some kind of licensing issue, but I have NPM unlimited and I have more than enough licenses in my other modules.

I did not park the key. I will call support. Thank you!

I'm experiencing the same issue. Have just raised a ticket and sent diagnostics. It only happen when i'm importing SNMP nodes from a network discovery.

Thanks for your help. These are my volume alerts. I thought it would alert if I changed from "Use Average Values" to "Use Peak values" and lowered the threshold to below current usage. Also, does it matter that my volume alerts are under different Object Types than yours?

Not that I wanted to do this but removing the node and putting it back in Orion worked; else the dual interface stayed there. I didn't want to have to lose the 2 months of uptime data.

Hey Gonzo, To add to all the suggestions, we are building a product that handles on call and escalation policy routing for alerts. If you're interested in beta testing, providing feedback, or even just hearing more about it, we'd love to add you to our list. It sounds like it might be able to automate what you're looking…

They released the licenses and I received the following errors: Your license activation failed The license you provided cannot be activated Contact Customer Support by opening a ticket at: http:/www.solarwinds.com/support I do not currently have a support contract.

Sure! Query was: USE [msdb] EXEC [dbo].[usp_CheckIsoLev]

I'd also be interested in knowing if you had any luck with this? I'm currently trying to monitor the configurations for two UTM-1 splat appliances with R75.40. I've used the same template, and SSH connections are working to the appliance but further than that, nothing yet. If anyone has had any luck I'd be really…

I'm happy for it to be an additional module with some licensing, but getting 20 users on the web interface with 5 tools should not cost more (at list price) than one of our unlimited NPM licenses which as no user restrictions. We have multiple support teams, split across a number of sites along with 2 Orion platforms and…

One thing we notice from your post is that you are using a different font as the system font. Looks like that's causing some text to get misplaced. You could try changing your system font. Otherwise, you'll need to open a Support ticket and send us diagnostics.

I tested it and made some changes accordingly, I also went with VB because I didn't even have Perl installed on that server which is why nothing was passing. Took me a second to realize that. Below parses a forwarded SNMP trap from Cisco Prime and then forwards it to NCM for Cisco Wireless Controller configuration change…

Was able to strip off the Attachments from WHD database and cleared 6GB worth of attachments. Not advisable but it works

Any suggestions?

I was looking for a template and this a component not a template. Issue resolved!

Thank you.
