Excellent. Can you expound a bit on what "value 1 means the alert condition has been evaluated to true but there is a sustained time period." means? Thanks, Scott

Great stuff Bsulli ! Would you care to share how you have the stack alert configured?

Thanks for chasing this down and posting it here - we're also looking at creating a sizing guide that can help with these recommendations.

Ticket 719024 has been created, I will update this post as well once we find a cause/solution. Thanks!

Hi all, i'm new in this forum and i'm not skilled on SQL; i was trying to create a report with your advanced query but i notice that works only with events that are closed inside the month and doesn't work with events that haven't an EndTime inside selected month; then i tried to insert a period that is longer then a month…

Hi Chester, Already have the IPSLAM, have added the endpoints such as the Call Managers as nodes but the only stat we could get is the percentage of registered unregistered phones. How can we monitor the jitter of the IP Phone itself?

Within the IP Networks tree, I would like to be able at a glance to scan/scroll down the tree and see what supernets or subnets are used (i.e., at least one host address detected/assigned). One means of doing this would be appending Available/Used/Transient counts to the end of the Display Name or added as another column.…

I would like to 2nd the request to have a way to turn off the "alarming" based on how many IP's are free. In my environment, I have alot of small subnets (/30's and /29's) and they are expected to use most or all of the IP's. It would be nice to be able to turn off the alarming on a per-subnet basis. ABSOLUTLEY!!! what…

Thank you, adeese2. I got it. I'll take care to understand the word "enhancement" not equal to a great new feature.

No, all SQL servers are 2008 R2 and running SQL 2008 R2. We opened a ticket and support had us manually assign the template so we are now working.

No, I do not have any port restrictions on direction. We currently have firewall ports opened for both the agent (Agent Initiated) and snmp.

I used the same poller and then set it to greater than or equal to 60 with it checking every minute but I didn't get any alert fired. I have it assigned to all the UPSs and then sending out an e-mail but I don't get anything...

Hi qle Originally we were looking to use a local user account on the target, this didn't help with the test... "Unable to impersonate user localmachine\localaccount". This user must be a valid user on the Orion Server/Polling engine. So we reverted to AD and using a domain admin account we still get a negative response…

Good evening aLTeReGo! Thank you for your reply. I do understand your workaround solution and I am going to set it up, to get a reaction on the (general) system health overview - where it is possible (since not all servers are ready for this monitor). I agree, it is working that way around. But it is a pity, because the…

Bryan has a good point . EOC was built for that use case.

Jonathan, thanks for the advice, I took the alert logic, pulled it into SQL and ran the query a few times, removing one item at a time. When I remove the 'device_category does not equal 'CommVault' then it triggers as it should, displaying volumes above 95% capacity. I checked in the Custom Property editor and I only have…

I have had a couple of threads on this.. i was dreaming that APM 3.5 would have the ability to choose BASIC or ADVANCED APM component monitors.. All I want to be able to do, is alarm on whether a specific service or process of SNMP is DOWN for a specific length of time... don’t care about CPU or memory... don't want to…

I do have have the option to use either a (TSV, CSV, or Excel). I've tried this on Chrome 64-bit version 60.x, and Microsoft Edge. The appliance that I have WHD on is the Virtual Appliance.

Thanks, At the moment it is: Triger conditions alert when all the following apply: Node Status is equal to Down Do not trigger this action until condition exists more than 0 seconds

In our docs: http://www.solarwinds.com/NetPerfMon/SolarWinds/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?context=SolarWinds&file=OrionPHResourceTopXXErrorsDiscardsToday.htm I know this is an old thread. This link appears to have moved (broken) and this info may be helpful to me in troubleshooting an interface problem. Can…

Removing the "/" gives the same error.

Thanks for the response. We have a small environment of about 60+ servers. I am trying to verify that I have installed the syslog agent on all Windows servers, as well as configured the Linux system without visiting every host. I have not spent much time becoming familiar with the software so the AutoSplit tip is…
