I have 4 arrays being monitored and the last asset, storage and performance collect has now been 4 days. If I remove them from the smi-s provider and re-add will it populate the data? Thanks

There's not enough detail in either of your posts for the community to provide any guidance. I'd suggest posting a detailed explanation of what steps you've taken and maybe a screenshot of a key alert. The more detail you provide, the more likely it is that the community will jump in.

Right but how do I tell Kiwi the community string to look for?

thanks very much for the fast reply. Could we possibly ask for both of these to be added to a list of possible additions to the product development plan, i.e. do you agree that both requests are valid enough to be considered in the next or later releases? I suspect adding the "trigger time" as an available variable would…

Hey, I have NPM 11.5, how can I do bulk update? I entered the Manage Alerts, but couldn't find a way... Thanks!

Yes, and I get the below error when testing it during the setup process. Testing on node fileserver name: failed with 'Unknown' status Path 'E.' not supported Directory Size: 0 Full Searched Path: N/A

It will run with Orion credentials, so you don't need to worry about entering credentials. Denny LeCompte Sr. Product Manager, Orion SolarWinds

do you or have you had a support case open on this that I can reference with the dev team when I have them take a look?
-
Many thanks warbird, I'll give it a go. Appreciate it. Little brain dead after adding all the nodes and creating the maps.

I would say that it may be that someone changed the bandwidth in the solarwinds database. had some that did this when a change was made to show a 512kbps link but was set to 512bps so when it graphs it everything was over max due to the bad info.

I'm having this exact same issue, were you able to resolve it?

Mine still isn't working. Below is one of my configs: I've tried this with the following lines: <Command Name="RESET" Value="changeto context system" RegEx="lcaoff1/admin#"/> <Command Name="RESET" Value="changeto context system" RegEx="lcaoff1#"/> <Command Name="RESET" Value="changeto context system" RegEx="${SysName}#"/>…

Thank you for your reply. I opened a ticket with Solarwinds support and they confirmed it should be Alpha by Last name. Every other list on my system is correct. They are not sure why this is occurring on my configuration and did not have a solution for me. Tough Luck is basically what they said. If anyone can tell me…

Ok, thanks… just wanted to verify… that’s what I did in the meantime.. I opened a ticket… you can have it closed. Kevin

Dear ET :), thanks for the reply , yes you are right it is the "InterfaceIndex" which is the trouble. SNMP only discovers one interface eth0 -> interfaceindex = 2, but the Netflow receives traffic from an interface having the index of 65535. For tweaking the exporter I don't see those options, I would rather align NTA to…

For what it's worth, I did solve this myself. The export/import solution was quite unweildy, since we have 300+ subnets. The solution I followed, which took all of about 20 minutes to engineer and 5 minutes to implement, was quite simple. The existing standalone IPAM and the existing Orion products shared a single SQL…

It doesn't make sense to jump to another product component (UDT) to determine the duplex mode of a single interface. Likewise, creating a UnDP and adding a UnDP resource showing only one value (duplex mode) to the Interface Details view and wating valuable page real estate doesn't make good sense either. Duplex mode is the…

After I posted - I found the solution here: NetFlow on Cisco Switches: NetFlow v9 configuration for Cisco Catalyst 3850 Thank you much for your reply.

Let me know how it goes... Thanks

Hi neomatrix1217 Thanks for the reply. Can I ask you what would be the impact if I turn to ENABLE this Automatic Index Defragmentation?

Hi, Thank you for responding. How do you set-up action rules? We like working on tickets from top to bottom. We have some tickets are new jobs whilst others are recurring jobs that repeat each month. We normally work on the jobs that are due today but sometimes clients update the monthly tickets. This means that we always…

Hi, Currently I'm facing the same problem that SolarWinds doesn't show my iSeries Disk and RAM details. I get to see only CPU utilization and network port usage. Really appreciate if you can give me the procedure to configure iSeries to push those data to Solarwinds. Thank you very much in advance. Cheers Chamika

Yep, I have the trend lines turned on. Questions start coming when that trend line is pointing up. As long as we have the other system running I can remind them to check the other system for the Days to Threshold. That system is expensive and maybe getting dropped.

Thanks for the information. I'm new to Orion so I'm learning as I go along. I set up my dependencies for the sites where we have a router and a single switch so that's done. How do you handle sites where you have multiple devices? I understand I would have to use a group. However, we are already using groups to group…

Thanks for the explaination. I was hoping the values of the Statistics Collection condition were for the status of the collection (up, down, warning, critical, etc.) rather than the interval.
-
Thanks JP, This is what I needed. Thank you very much for your help.
-
Almost. I need the name of the snmp credential set.
-
I'm not having any problems with permissions or access as I only deploy to system that pass the access test. The process times out most of the time, completes successfully on occasion.

I was just looking over the logs for another case, and it looks like the formatting might have changed - if you can provide a syslog sample (to me or the support team) we'll see if we can figure out what's going on. From the connector and the ID numbers and the data I'm seeing, these events should be coming in.
