Hello, One of the possible reasons is that data is not loaded properly from device due to some network issues. You can try to increase SNMP Timeout and retries. Also you can uncheck "Use GetBulk" option in the settings, but in this case map process will take long time Regards, Vasyl

This function is for deep monitoring of your "Difference Engine". Actually, it's just broken somehow. Can you open a Support ticket and include diagnostics so we can reproduce and get it fixed.
-
Did that already. They said its a known bug. Same issue occurs when you go to Setup > General > Look and Feel
-
It is just behind a firewall. We do not use NAT. We are trying to use it in Active mode. I think I may have figured out the issue though. Our service account isn't an admin in Orion and is a domain account. I found in some threads not related to this one that the error we got when trying to put in an Orion admin account…

That would pretty much take care of it. There needs to be a central Alert Console where all things requiring action can be sent to, acknowledged, cleared, etc. There's even a column already in the table for the message. I wonder if there wasn't some kind of goof where they meant to display the Alert Message and not the…

If you want to create an SFTP monitor, you'll need to write a script in VB or Java, using the Windows or Linux script monitor.

John, The hotfix does not address suppression logic being ignored. It looks like you may have uncovered a new bug. Could you open up a ticket with Support? We'll want screenshots of the trigger query and the suppression query. The more detail the better. Thanks, Denny

Thanks pyro13g but the likelyhood of a virus or trojan on this network/server is so remote, I mean REALLY remote, that I don't think that is the issue. I also am not seeing any of the events or error codes mentioned in the article. I will keep looking. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks Roger but since the 'encouragement' by SW not to use the System Manager I rarely use it any more so that is not the issue. I know when I rebooted my Orion server and looked at lsass.exe it started about 73Mb but it slowly is climbing... I will continue to investigate.

I edit the Custom Table with the following. (Images pulled from link in my previous post) Here is where I chose the columns that will display the information that I want. Interface Alias is the description of who or what the BGP connects to that I would configure on the router. This is the end result and what I see when a…

No script. I used this method but when selecting columns, there is no selection for interface alias. It seems SW is configured to only present what is relevant to the source selected but for some reason alias isn’t. Create a view when the BGP Neighbor status is Down - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Attached is how I got this done. Created two pollers, one for the temps set to keep historical, one for the labels out of the entity MIB. Did a tabular frame on the node details page to merge the two.
-
Can anyone help me on it? it's a very serious problem for us. We are not geting any utilization!!! Could you provide more details? If it's really serious, you might want to contact Support. To speed things alone, please run the SolarWinds diagnostics and attach the results to your ticket submission.

Hi Tony, Its just the standard out of the box alert for node reboots. I have recreated this alert and I have rerun the alerts configured report and I now have one reboot node alert that displays notify enabled true and one that is false. So I will receive the alerts but I have other alerts too that say notify enabled…

I have changed the port, and looking at the network traffic confirms that NPM/APM are using the correct port. The issues are the missing credentials and empty requests.

OK, Thanks, Steve. Kevin

Yes, we are getting inputs from the agents but only on domain controllers. We don't install the agent on workstations.

What I Did. From Manage Views I created a new one of type Summary and gave it a name and added Custom HTML Resources to it. The path to the view is : /Orion/SummaryView.aspx?viewname=[The name you gave the view] I picked a node, just one router in the above. On that nodes detail page is a list of interfaces(if you didn't…

We will support SQL 2008 in the next version. Denny, We are running SQL 2000 and have seen your announcement regarding discontinuance of support for SQL 2000 in the next version. We are struggling with deciding which SQL to upgrade to. Our DBA recommends 2008 because, in his opinion, 2008 is more stable than 2005. However,…
