Not really loving it at the moment as it's hard to navigate and the light blue on white isn't very clear. The document for old location to new location shows "Spaces" at the top of the page but that's not on my login. Am I missing something?

Hi Jiri, the first option is what we would like to have. So SEUM clients create multiple parallel transaction at the same time to generate heavy load. I know that this can be or is a big risk, since it could also be used to create a DoS attack (what we don't want to do!) We have a tool tool called "Compuware Gomez" which…

You'll need something like this then http://www.solarwinds.com/products/seum/web-application-monitor.aspx

That type of device is your "node"

Thanks Much. This is exactly what I did and everyone's happy!

I removed all non Orion programs early on because we were worried about conflicts, but I am still seeing the crashes. I will look in to the map setting and make the change today.

Is there any documentation for v2.5 of APM? Any big changes or requirements needed for it? We are currently running NPM 9.1 SP3 and APM 2.0 SP2. Thanks,

Roman, I tried this but it's not working correctly. I set up seperate pollers with that OID for each router, and when I test those, they come back with correct values. I created a new transform: {R1} + {R2} + {R3} When I test it against the 3 nodes I assigned it to, values come back. When I added a universal device poller…

BXIV - support and I found that even if you change the custom.config file ('false' to 'true'), running the CW overwrites the file again. Attempting to change that and just restart IIS errors with permissions on the web.config file. So part of the setup seems to be broken. While pass though may be working, user restrictions…

Hello! I am so sorry to dig up an old thread! This is as close to the issue as we are having with our Avayas. We are in the midst of swapping out EOL Ciscos due to a PCI LAN/WAN refresh, and are going with Avaya 4548GT-PWR for some devices. I have followed these instructions and those from the admin guide chapter 6. I have…

Thanks for your answer. The servers I want to monitor are our main Citrix farm. No test servers there. So again, any idea how I get the ICAsession template up and running?
-
Because that is the version we bought a long while back. We do not have maintenance on the system so I do not have access to 9.5.
-
Are you running 8.5.1 SP3? We had problems with Windows 2000 servers flatlining at 100% CPU. Looks like the issue has finally been resolved in SP3. We've been running 2 weeks on SP3 and CPU is now looking good on our 2000 servers.

Cheers Tony, Imported your report into SW and then found one right beneath it in the Web Based reports list called Node Capacity Forecasts. There is a lot of noise in it which I'll filter out, but that should be enough to keep management at bay. Thanks all for your help.
-
Thanks Alex for coming back to me. I've seen those for the individual nodes, but is there an easy way to combine those graphs/tables for each node and put them into reports on memory, CPU, disk space etc for, say, all window's nodes? Management want a weekly/monthly report on all servers and see what server is likely to…

i had this problem; i solved it by renaming a file called mapmaker.toolbars then run the Mapmaker app. the mapmaker.toolbars was then recreated and all was well. a dev might want to look at what is going on here; but all is well after the file was re created.

Thanks Chrystal- But your answer requires me to create an alert for each and every network device I have. That would be difficult to maintain if I understand this correctly. Is there a way I can create a custom property for each IP Address and then the Alert process can look at both custom properties IP address that be…

I'm thinking it it because we were out of universal licenses, how can you change the license type to workstations? All the servers running a Microsoft server OS using a universal license, can that be change to a workstation?

I ran that and they are both the same. One thing I noticed, on the test messages I create in the log and event manager it the logs the event info as Unmatched CiscoIOS Data
