Hi NuX, Thanks for the reply, I am not sure if it is dying because of --more--, however it is not failing daily, it happens one in a week or so.

do something with WaaS to really annoy Fluke....

Thanks. That does it.

Mark is right, but you can use the custom poller simply by adding the OID directly. You don't actually need the MIB to be compiled by us.

thank you.problem solved.

Yea, faulty logic IMO. I've also logged a support ticket/feature request for it as well. The best solution is to add the tech(s) to the queue(s) they cannot see.

thanks for the quick response! I will await support for this, and then let the thwack community set it up first for a month before i go for it ;-) cheers dan

I have. It is scheduled to backup at 2:30AM and when I come in in the morning I have the error on my web page until I refresh it. We are a 24 hour site so the HelpDesk sees the error as well. Next idea.....

a) Is it a single 2.8 Ghz processor? If so, does it support hyper-threading? - Its a dual processor server capable of hyper-threading although the hyper-threading feature is disabled. b) Are you using any other Orion modules besides NetFlow? - No, Other the Orion SLX itself, Net Flow is the only other modules I am using c)…

Thanks for the info Jan. Seems like such a silly change to make, so I will definitely be anxiously waiting an updated version. Any idea on a timeframe for the next major update?
-
Great to know, thanks for the info Jan!

Ignore my last, this must have been a change in a recent update. I'm not seeing it in production because it still needs to be upgraded, but I do in the lab.

So when I try to do a search for tickets by Tech, this person is no longer listed and therefore I cannot see their open tickets. Is there another search function I am missing? There isn't anything in the system that will allow you to assign all tickets of a user you are about to deactivated to another tech?

Smart advice. Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for.

Chris, You may have broken a record in my book with your response time to this post. I try not to post unless i come accross something i feel would be helpful to bring to the table. I know the list never ends but its good to know you guys are listening.

Yes, I have the Application Performance Monitor installed. Likewise, I created a template to monitor the service(s), and it all looks great. However, I'm stumpped on how to setup or create an alert to trigger when the service is identified as being down. Clear as mudd?

This is why I would like to be able to "comment" them out as opposed to having to do that...

Hi Zach, there query that I wrote didn't need a join, as only one table involved. Here the screenshot. Thanks, Dobbs77.

Sure thing. Same report. Different results see below:

Ah! That makes sense. Can you copy/paste a couple of example events (and maybe the source events from the event log)? Maybe we can find a way to make this work more cleanly.

Hello Mr. Garvin, Thank you for the quick reply! I am new to managing the Patch Manager and I really don’t know a whole lot about it. From what I understand the patch manager can only manage servers/workstations that are part of the domain. The servers in question are in the DMZ therefore they are not part of the domain.…

Yes, I could see, but as I understand, any user with admin rights could see same and change all he want. I need the user could see, but can not change anything.
