Hey Jeffster, Is that Exchange 2010 data you're referring to in a dedicated Event Log? Previously the data was only available in a mysterious built-in location inside of Exchange that would require us to build up some API access to get at, but if you're seeing data in an event log, that would certainly speed things up.

you are not alone. seems the errors i have been getting on installing v9 have been doing the same. for me i just click on the application in the task bar and minimize the wizard there and that lets you see the error. good luck on v9 it seems to be a bear to get it running right especially on x64.

 Data retention settings are stored in the registry, so you need to set them to be the same on the Hot Standby server. 

and for Layer 2 STP? its the same license or can be monitored with SAM?
