Nope.... :(

it's setup to redirrect http conections to https. I get nothing on my web browser. I've tried both http://korion1 and https://korion1. It seems that everything else is working. I have been getting alerts as well.

Here is the 8.1

Did it. Did it again and again. I had to reboot the server to clear it......

Nothing in Patch Manager. Windows update log shows the error code 800B0109. The update would fail every time when I tried to update locally on the machine. It finally installed using Patch Manager, but the running status of ‘Download’ always showed 0%. Locally, the machine shows it as installed now, but patch manager still…

dont know if these are windows boxes but do you monitor the MS TCP loopback on the servers? if so do they go into an unknown state when you loose the volume?
-
That was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot! I'm using extended SNMP to run various custom scripts within linux boxes.

Will do, i think they are struggling to understand my problem "This make no sense to me, I been here 3 years you shouldnt have to do that. Anyway let me know how the progress goes. If needs to I may send this case for internal review" It took me a week to get that far...

We are planning to add some new gauges. Is there something in particular that you are looking for it, or is this a generic desire for new stuff?

Denny, How do we get the WMI counters template to work without powershell? I have read that MS removed the exchange WMI namespace in Exchange 2007 We read the same thing , but it's not accurate. Use the Exchange 2007 template, and you'll see that we're polling WMI counters on Exchange 2007. They're just completely…

Thanks for sharing JB... can you provide some comments on what is what?

Awesome! Thanks everyone for all your great feedback! I really appreciate it. Well, v10.3 it is! Unfortunately, I also discovered from this posting, you can only have 2 helpful answers and 1 correct answer in a thread. I wish I could have marked everyone as correct answer! Thanks again for all your help!

are the interfaces trunk lines? prune only neccassry vlans on the wire. some switches cannot handle 10 20 vlans. stp has to designate 1000 vmacs for every vlan. had same issue with discards errors

Using the UDT Compatibility Check tool i was also seeing authorization errors for the OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3 (dot1dTp). Adding this MIB to the SNMP View made no difference. My SNMP view was: snmp-server group SNMPv3-RO v3 priv read RO snmp-server view RO iso included snmp-server view RO dot1dTp included Then i read a…

Hi steve, the template triggers "show version" on the device where "show diag" is needed (including Chassis Mac Address) I did not get it work until now, you may add this as a feature request. Thanks Bob

Pinging by name doesn't give me the interface where it's physically connected.

APM does use a different instantiation of the same control, so it looks similar, but it behaves a little differently. We're going to consolidate these in a future version. For now, what you're trying to do isn't possible with APM graphs. It's possible (but not certain) that we'll provide this ability in v3.0, which isn't…

I'm sorry, but this is pretty ridiculous. Why would development put the option to limit views by "groups" if you can't limit by groups? I love Solarwinds and Orion, but the Group implementation is a complete failure. I have the same frustrations with Group limitations for User access. Is there any date for this supposed…

Awesome. Thank you.

workaround to make it a little easer is just make batch files for each one and set them up with shortcuts ------------------------------ Batch1 regsvr32 /s -u "C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Configuration Management\SWDiscoveryServices8.dll" regsvr32 /s "C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Common\SWDiscoveryServices8.dll" "C:\Program…

Hi, I will get a ticket opened first thing in the morning. Many thanks Jase

Is it at all possible to edit a field to put these into a "snmp-server community" type group instead of unknown? I monitor 30 some boxes by ICMP only and they all show up unknown. It'd be nice to identify them as something. Thanks, Nick

Hello prabin.gautam! We had the same issue and we resolved it by installing the Network Atlas from the most recent stand alone installer. But please note, that we are using NPM v12 and not NPM v11.5 like you do. Anyhow, take your latest NMP package you used for your installation. It is usually a ZIP file. Extract the…

We have added a command to enable/disable http without running 'activate', but 'activate' also makes sure you've got a static IP and disables option to replay stock data samples, which can possibly mistakenly be added and get mixed in from Ops Center. Safest choice is to use activate rather than just the enable/disable…

I figured it out, the universal device pollers needed to be listed like this or else the data that comes out in the alert is in the wrong order, the AP Name was showing as disconnected. Makes sense really.
-
I thought about adding another custom field, but then realised we have many already so I started messing with the universal device poller and managed to create a second universal device poller for LocationB, renaming the first to LocationA and I have created a separate alert for each location referring to…

If you want, for whatever reason, to have it show up in a label than it has to come from a custom property.
-
Right - I have the custom property built, I use that for view restrictions actually. Adding the node tree resource is where I'm stuck - do I do this in NPM or MM?
-
I've just been looking around at what we're actually polling for for these routers and it looks like we're already actually polling for uptime .. it's just not showing up in the UnDP Top XX resource in the views.. So I don't really know where to go from here, it says it's polling for exactly the same stuff as the node…

I had read the manual on setting it up, I wasn't sure if it mattered which databases the messages were being stored.
