How about logs when it is not about monitoring but rather SAM itself? For example in this pic the "test failed" doesn't tell too much what actually failed.

The servers are all using FQDN instead of actual IP, so some process intially put it those IP subnet smart groups. With the IP change, the Monitors continued to work correctly as we just updated DNS (as it should).
