Thanks for the response. I want to send email to particular on call email id during out of working hours in solar winds DPA, I couldn't find Node custom property in DPA solarwinds.

Thanks! Exactly the start I'm looking for. I think I need to take the threshold value report and modify to work with assigned monitors. -- Andy

Here's a description from Dev: NetFlowSummary1 - This table holds the summarized historical data for the first collapse level. The data are collapsed and moved to the NetFlowSummary2 table after certain number of hours. The data in this table summarizes a 24 hours traffic by default. (CollapseTrigger2InHours option in…

Hi Steve, the Cattool version is 3.7 and the devices affected are various: Cisco, Juniper, etc. There may be ACLs in the environment causing the issue, but not sure just yet. Wanted to hear some opinions. Thanks,
-
First, thanks for the reply! We are attempting to create a report that lists IP addresses that NetFlow cannot resolve. The unresolved address table appears to contain a key that one assumes links the record to a human readable IP address. I have not been able to find the human readable IP addresses.

What's the status on this feature request? With more companies migrating to either Office365 or Google Apps, this needs to be something that's added. Thanks Jim

Hi, Is there a way of doing this on the Device.Backup.Running Config activity? Thanks, Nuno

It is and I haven't seen an issue with the restarts. Ticket 51250.

Try to give it a dummy password initially then go back and clear it out (clear it and click change) and save. Did the trick.

I have changed their Home page so it only includes two items, All Nodes and last 25 Events. However when I am setting this user I see that two options below Home Page View is Default Summary View. What is this Default Summary View do and where is it located in all the pages?

Another vote for Xirrus. We have migrated from Cisco to Xirrus and would like the wireless integration we were getting with Cisco.

borgan, that's definitely a problem you shouldn't be having. Please open a support ticket and send diagnostics. Let support know I asked you to open the ticket(so it should get routed back to me a little quicker).

You could try using JOIN in Custom SQL ALert. JOIN VIM_Hosts ON VIM_Hosts.NodeID = Nodes.NodeID WHERE (VIM_Hosts.OverallStatus != 'green' OR VIM_Hosts.ConnectionState != 'connected')

I've tried changing the order of the top HTTP monitor and even when its 2nd, 3rd, 4th down the list of HTTP monitors I cannot rename it. Does this look like a bug? As you can see (RENAME button) is still greyed out for the first HTTP monitor.

Is this still being worked on? I can't find any details anywhere... Removing rows from the chart is not an acceptable solution - I am trying to monitor a process from hrSWRunName where there are multiple instances of a given process and that number fluctuates regularly - there is no way to determine which rows the process…

From the Solarwinds server, in the Advanced Alert Manager, in the Manage Alerts window, when you select an alert there's the opportunity to click Test : That's where I'm testing the alerts from...

I'm going to agree with wbrown on this one. The interface indexes have likely changed. There's nothing that you can do to manually line them back up. You should be able to add the new ones via list resources, and then delete the ones left in the "unknown" state after a poll cycle.

Thanks for your reply. An APM standalone server would use the same DB back-end as my existing Solar Winds environment? If so would alerts (ex. emails/pages) be generated if that backend db server were to go down?
-
I was wondering the same thing. I've been enabling 64bit counters by default. Any reason I shouldn't be doing that?
-
Was this released in APM 3 or is it in the 'next' version?

We have tried to request and download configs using SSH auto, SSH 2, SSH 1, and telnet. It appears NCM use a regular expression to look for username prompt and gets confused when it finds "users please note:". Other configuration collection software we use allows us to specify prompts to overcome such issues.

I have sent you a debug file of 3 switches

The majority of our tables don't have foreign keys defined. However, it's usually pretty straight forward to figure out the relationships. For example, the Interfaces table has a NodeID column. This links back to the Nodes table. Interfacetraffic_Detail has an InterfaceID column. This links back to the Interfaces table. As…

The web servers are load balanced by round robin. A little more detail on the problem: We have a site running on two webservers that are LB (by round robin). When we configure the template for the given url on port 80 then assign the template to both servers the monitor turns green. The problem is when I stop the site on…

How we gona apply this on the three monitors inside the template. please let me know the steps for doing that.

Steve, thanks for such a quick response. Yes, the text is "... Open" and then it requires a CR to get the device enabled prompt (name#). The CUE is NME-CUE running on a C3925. Mark
