12.6 RC 1 will try upgrading to see if this fixes it
-
Hi volodymyr.prystaiko When you say next release do you mean the 12.6.0 GA release? Thanks Jay

Hi fluffy midnight Yes, we tried creating and deleting new ones but it was still the same unfortunately :/ Pretty weird, this one -jay

Thank you!

I suggest opening a Support ticket on this one.

Thanks for the response. 1. Upgraded from Orion 10 sp1 to 10.1. I do recall updating IPSLA to 3.5.1 prior to the Orion upgrade. 2. Correct, all operations now have VOIP UDP jitter resources. At the top the description is still correct, e.g. HTTP Operation Detail - sitex to Internet. Under customize page the names are…

I already saw that link, it's from 2015 and this is STILL an issue in 2 years later. They should have resolved this by now, none of that works for either. I sad thing is that I opened a case and support pointed me to that same link !

Yes absolutely! You can do this two (easiest) ways: * A Linux/Unix syslog server * A Windows server with Kiwi syslog Next steps: * Install LEM agent on the syslog server and specify IP/hostname to connect back to the LEM appliance * Configure appropriate LEM connectors for those syslog files

The configuration seems fine to me, Just make sure that if you fitering the host addresses at SIEM Qradar side, you have added the fixed source IP address you mentioned in Kiwi. Rest you already mentioned you tested it so no issue with Port. Can you also try with RFC 3164 box checked?

Thanks for your reply nrms, I understand.

Yes, actually I would like to speak to a Sales Rep. Is there a way we can continue this conversation offline?

Enhancement request received. Thanks.

AIX uses non-standard MIBs. In Orion 9, you should be able to poll that data via our new custom poller.

but it Can be successful Via MG-soft MibView tools. using this oid. many thanks. weiping_zhou@dnt.net.cn via foxmail 发件人: jeff.stewart 发送时间: 2012年5月8日(星期二) 下午9:27 收件人: Vanzhou 主题: Re: - why the huawei firewallCPU OID is not supported? thwack why the huawei firewall CPU OID is not supported? created by jeff.stewart in Orion…

This is what is confusing... ${Hostname} and ${IP} only show the IP address of the host..... So the subject line formatted as: Forwarded Syslog Message from ${Hostname}:${IP} Looks like like this in an email.... Forwarded Syslog Message from 10.64.1.12:10.64.1.12 What I am after is a friendly name and the IP in the subject…

But it is successful to get the value Via another snmp tools Named MIBview. this will confused me a lot. Kindly thanks Jeff for helping.

This is why I need to test before posting. LMAO I was afraid to press "Shutdown" for fear, it would happen immediately, (and did not test on a server that could be shut down immediately) not take me to the scheduled task options like it does... thanks for pointing a fool in the obvious direction.
-
Cool. Thanks for that I was attempting to use it from the System Manager. That solved that issue. The only thing I have noticed between Basic and Advanced testing, is that on Basic when you select a node it only shows you the interfaces for that node. In Advanced Alert testing when you select a node it still shows ALL…

what if it fails the credentials test with valid credentials for the target domain?

Can you please provide me screen shots for creating rule to discard syslog messages??? I'll be grateful.
-
Many thanks for your help. Kindly tell me on which server I have to go for windows app? Also how to create the rule for that?? Also tell me which kind of messages could be discarded if they are coming from firewall with severity level critical???? Thanks

It depends on the percent of packets that we're errored per second. Errored packets will affect different applications to a greater degree than others. The graph you posted is useless. An errored packets per second alarm is the way to go along with a graph of much shorter intervals(minutes). If your lucky enough to be able…

Also, I'm accessing from Dallas, Texas, USA.

Why would you assign a threshold to a transaction alert? surely you would just want to know if the step completes or fails and then information about the details of the failure.
-
Good call...thought I looked there and didn't see it. Do the component threasholds need to be populated for this to work?
-
Thanks for the response. It looks like there will be a bit of a trial and error plus a learning curve to see if an automated solution will work in our environment. I'll give this a try when there is a lull in the stream of monitoring requests for our newly installed Solarwinds monitor.

I found that you could not filter out maps by an account limitation so you would have to create a view for each map that you want to have.
