Yes but is was version 8 I believe. We then had a full version of 8, this server was re-previsioned and has now returned. It didn't have Kiwi installed when I got it back, so I wanted to test this new release before purchasing it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Adam

Thanks for the confirmation. Maybe i should put this up as a new product feature

Hi Kjette, Thank you for getting back to me on this. Unfortunately that still won't quite do what I want it to because I don't necessarily have all of the e-mail addresses for all of my customers. A customer may have two or three e-mail addresses and if they decide to respond from a different address, I don't think your…

I got a count of CPUs by using Count instead of Count (Distinct). But, for my physical HP servers, I get a count of 0 cpu's. My VM's show the proper cpu count....

Thanks Fodome.

I am talking about modifying the text on the actual login screen.

Custom Polling of MIB tables is one of the major features of the next relesae.
-
This is what I usually do during maintenance windows and it works quite well for us.

Hi brent.weaver@ge.com, I'm glad to hear that. And if you feel that SAM or any other SW product saved your bacon, you might want to share your thoughts in the Spread the Word forum, and you'll get a $25 e-gift card from Amazon.

Matthew, I have something very similar, but I think your answer is the one I need. I have a Table with my OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.2682.1.2.2.1.5 and the Row I need to look at is ROWID 99.1.9 how can I make a poller just for that row?

This sounds to me like you haven't upgraded your Reports Console to the latest version. You'll need to install the 5.6 reports console (over the top of your existing install, it's an in-place upgrade). PS: You can check the version by going to Help > About.

Thanks Lawrence, does the WSUS server from Site B have to be in the same management group as the WSUS server in Site A?

+1 for this functionality

You don't need to delete and re-add them via sonar. Just take the existing list of items you are managing and create a new sonar profile and choose bulk upload and copy and paste that list into there and run the discovery. Then just choose one of the devices to re-import and it will update the topology for those. Brandon,…

I don't think this is what I'm looking for as I'm just trying to 'let NCM know, so that it can track/handle/deal with the specified Node' that's been added to either of our two NPM servers. (Perhaps 'Add Nodes' was a bad way to put it.) Thanks, Scott
-
Our current NPM version is apparently 11.0.1, and NCM 7.3.2 is running on those NPM servers (because some version of it has to from what I'm told). However, we're testing NPM 11.5, so I guess it would be NPM 11.5 (or 11.0.1) to NCM server 7.3.2. Our production servers are running 11.0.1, and as I said above, we're testing…

Updating the MIB database will not impact whether or not Orion can monitor those values. If we're not polling those values by default, it's very possible that Juniper does not report those in standard MIBs. You could do a MIB walk of the device (using Engineer's Toolset, which you can download as an eval) and find the…

Hi, No these products are in production and I've only seen these 0 usage counts since we upgraded from 9.5.1 to version 10.x (we also went to the latest version of APM and NTA at the same time). The license manager shows the products but the maintenance date is November 2010 whereas NPM is November 2011. Thanks Jason

I'm still having this issue. I'll throw that in there as well to see what kind of results I get. I also added the ${NodeID} to see if that would help. ${NodeName} works with my other alerts for down node and system issue, but for this alert it's missing out.

Definitley no answer still..months now.

Citrix moved it. This is the NetScaler 11 SNMP OID Reference: Citrix NetScaler SNMP OID Reference

It was helpful for me although I deviated from the process since it kills the SQL Server Service as well. I had to restart that service to issue the UPDATE command but other than that it work fine.

Hello, We are currently using NPM 10.2.2 Wes Van Sickle | IT Operations Administrator | The Arizona Republic & azcentral.com • Office: 200 E. Van Buren Street | Phoenix, AZ 85004 • Office: (602) 444-7330 • Mobile: (623) 262-4050 • wvansickle@republicmedia.com<mailto:wesley.vansickle@pni.com> •…

Well, I have upgraded to 10.6.1. from 10.3 and my switches have been upgraded to version 5.7.009 from 5.4.1. My previously created poller works in the upgrade. I don't know what was wrong but I think it had to do with the NPM web application. I don't understand why you have interface number poller and calculating based on…

Yes. I see the server in Storage Manager. We have several servers being monitored with StorageManagerAgent but only one is experiencing high processor utilization on the process

Could you each open a Support ticket with details of your issue?

My hunch is correct..License expired :( I guess our demo key has expired..Sticking software people expecting to get paid for their work :) Thanks for the hint, found it in the eventviewer plain as day.. I will have to see where ouor company stands on purchasing it.

Never mind. I forgot about the standalone app. I was searching the web console for it.
-
Yeah it is running on a separate VM. I started this move because after upgrading to 9.5.1 I am no longer to manage the mode using the GUI. They have suggested a few things so I decided to start from scratch and just pointed it to the existing DB..The problem didn't go away and now nodes go in and out of warning all the time

I appreciate this resource however it is still way more complex than IPMonitor. Can someone give me an example of how I can create an alert with similar information to one generated from IPMonitor as shown above?
