Thanks for your support, but it seems still have the same error, my setting have changed as below: Package Name: Mozilla Firefox 32.0.3 (Korean) Description: This package does not require a previous version exist to be applicable. This version addresses bug fixes and feature enhancements. System reboot may be required for…

I think Mark misunderstood your question. NPM can certainly monitor Windows Server 2008; however, we do not support running NPM on Windows Server 2008. We only support Server 2003 for now.

Is that coming up on the next service pack? I know there are a couple of us who would like to have this capability handy. Is it even possible to get the xml that cisco saves and have it converted into some sort of sql script. Thanks..
-
LOL you mean RTFM Yes I have been reading it, and the actual answer to my question was about views. Linux is natively discovered by NPM, however there are two issues 1: The information displayed need to be set up in "views by vendor" 2: The vendor matching is a bit shite and especially for net-snmp based nodes, can be very…

This happens even with a small office.

I've added this feature request to the queue.

Thank you for the response. Is there any advice on how to do this? Every time I try to edit my screen with the radial gauges all I have the option of doing is changing the radial gauge style not the information it displays. I am logged in as administrator

Unfortunately, we don't have that functionality in 1.0, but we will be adding that and more in the next version.

Interesting... I was not saving then as .wmf files in the scalabel folder. I was trying to save my custom icons as .gif files in the Large devices folder. If I save save them as . wmf files this will place the them in the legacy scalable folder. Does this mean that we can not create the .gif images but continue to use the…

Next week I'll forward what we are currently successfully utilizing for some devices. rcahill, could you publish the OIDs and model of what you have determined? Like you, I would like to set up pollers by model number.

Hey Nanda Thanks for the advice, i noticed in the log file that it was Unable to verify password, id put the username and password in the ssh side of things, i moved this to the AAA and like magic it worked. So for people like me that are new to all of this to get a HP2510 or HP2810 and HP switches like this i set it up…

Great! Now, lets start with my favorite question; Can this be done with C# / REST call(s) ?
-
It is passed, but for a Windows Script Monitor the Credential also seems to be used to actually launch the script locally on the machine, so the only credentials you can pick to launch the script are either <None> or the credentials for the local machine user - anything else results in an 'undefined' error. I always…

We do list a lot of known issues in our release notes... www.solarwinds.com/.../releaseNotes.htm

Hi Mark, thanks very much, it worked a treat! Dave

Bingo! Right on bleearg13. I agree 1000%. I get frustrated with having to repeat and resend info as well. The other big issue I have is the response from Support does not include the entire ticket correspondence thread. I have to pull up all my prior sent mail to know what the heck I previous said.

I think the reason it's slow is because it's not instant. When I have to wait half a second, I'm pissed. There's no need for it. The application is faster than a web page, period. IMO a well designed app is always better than a well designed web page. But I'm still reading through your link. Thanks for the quick response!

While dragging, use the mouse wheel. It's a bit of phelangies gymnastics, but it'll work. Peter, I can't get phelangies gymnastics to work when the destination group/supernet is not visable. Also, is there a way to select multiple subnets and drag them to the destination group/supernet whether visable or not?

Specifically, what info do you want to collect?

Will Solarwinds be adding in support of .1.3.6.1.4.1.1981? Support how? What are you looking for? Is it something the Universal Device Poller can't monitor?
-
Thanks Josh! Worked like a champ! You and your team are the best....

This feature is slotted for 2.1. Denny LeCompte Sr. Product Manager, Orion SolarWinds
-
that's good. thank you. The inline quote system seems to have lost it. Is there a similar module that you have to purchase for VoIP and NTA on a 2nd/3rd poller?
-
Interestingly if I monitor another process i.e. snmpd it works. I'm guessing it must be somthing to do with the particular process or the command being run.
-
I know all of that, I'm looking for an algorithm or strategy that will keep the load balanced. The first goal is to balance the polling load, a secondary goal is to take remove decision making from the process, so that I can document how to add nodes to Solarwinds without there being any ambiguity in how it's done. Right…
