thanks, but it puzzled me that where is the field "DateTime" 's Value from? i think have no offset, because it is the same server from Orion and Sqlserver.

The names that I've created for the nodes are very detailed and reference particular info. Being able to see that info next to the IP in IPAM would be very helpful. I'm transferring from spreadsheets now and the spreadsheets have that information. It would be a benefit to have the detailed node names i created next the the…

I know it doesn't help you today, but we are adding this capability in the next release of Orion.

So just for clarification, if it isn't monitoring every member of the DAG it will report that Microsoft Exchange is in critical state because Microsoft Exchange Monitor service has stopped on the passive node? I fail to see why it would need to be on every member of the DAG to tell that one of the nodes is the passive and…

I would encourage you to upgrade to Orion 8.1 which is available to all maintenance customers.

Hello Balki, I went through the guide and did a search for "help". I did not find anything that indicated an offline help file feature similar to the one NPM provides.
-
Chris, Did you re-run the config wizard? If so, you would need to re-apply Hotfix 1 because running the config wizard will replace the patch. Denny

Thanks for your quick response Andy - i will try to configure this. Mav - Thats exactly what i want to set, but on individual nodes/interfaces. the defaults are good for 95% of our network, so wanted to leave them in place. I was hoping there would be a default property hidden somewhere (such as the custom properties you…

Yes, I'm able to sort on IP and/or node names to get them in a reasonable order. I realize now I can keep clicking to turn on the check box and the site eventually catches up, I then can select DELETE and dump the nodes. Just that I do have a lot of them. I screwed up and pulled in all my IP phones.

It would be nice to create a Path History report. At least 1-7-days worth.
-
Not really, maybe 10-15 tops, normally 5 or so. I was going to put a custom MIB in to track... DB is on the same box, about 45GB with 15GB of space within it; backups are showing about 25GB's. The interesting thing is that it's lightening fast now with NetFlow turned off so it seems the DLL that is being called from…

Are you using pass through authentication with AD?

I think that’s a little further that I want to take this for the time being. I did find that if I add “&isNOCView=true” to the base url it loads the NOC View page. For now we will just have the NOC load the page that way. Thank you for your efforts. -Rob-
-
I don’t have a specific view called “NOC_View” I have several custom views where I have selected NOC View within the custom view. Selecting one of those still launches the default view although in the default there is a “Show in NOC mode” button.
-
Sorry. No “NOC_View” there either. I already have that option set to the Custom View that has the NOC View selected.
-
I tried that but I don’t have a NOC_View option. Thanks
-
This helps a lot. The NOC view does appear to suppress the Notification Bar. Before After It doesn’t load this view by default though. Can this view be made the default for the user? Thanks

To answer your questions... 1. It was showing as Not Applicable post-uninstallation. 2. I found in another thread that simply calling the batch file from Package Boot won't work. I changed that now to call cmd.exe with the parameter /C %modulepath%\block.bat, run from %windir%\system32. Unfortunately, I then ran the test…

Awesome! Thanks for that link. After reading through that documentation I think it told me everything I need to know. I kind of already knew that information but just wanted clarification. Thanks again.
-
exactly what I need, thanks a lot
-
Thanks that article solved my problem.

Well I doubt it's poorly titled steps because the "Current Screenshots of Steps" is in the order that it actually plays in, both the name and pictures are correct(the order I want). Everything else like Transaction Details and reports puts it in the wrong order, but all the same wrong order. any thoughts more or should I…

I am looking to send them from W2K3 server and Novell Netware 6.5 servers for right now. I cannot find any docs pointing towards how to complete this.

That worked, I modified the Mode Prompts variations.

Added to all prompts but still get an error. Here is where I modified the prompt: Debug output: <D 10:53:17 AM> <SCRIPT VALUES> <HOSTNAME=""> <PROMPT VTY=""> <PROMPT ENABLE=""> <PROMPT CONFIG=""> <NEWSESSION CatTools 3.11.3 2/8/2018 10:53:20 AM> <PROTOCOL=SSH2> <DEVICE TYPE=DLink.Switch.General> <ACTIVITY…

Update: NTA = Yes! I am going to migrate to my new 2012 R2 server tomorrow! Woohoo!

I never used that version so I can't comment. Easy in more current versions.
