That would be fine if I had time and tools to code. Set it to clear when the last reboot is equal to a date a decade in the past. Hopefully one of our misbehaving 6500's will get a good bounce this weekend for a test.

I hade RTN working fine under Cirrus 3.5.1, but it "broke" when I upgraded to Cirrus v 4.0 I have had a ticket open with support since 12/21 I am reveiving Syslog entries when I make a config change, and when I manually download the config (after making a change) and compare it to the last config, the differences do show…

Yes, I looked at it but the alert are not a consequence of another event. It is just the the link I monitor is going over 85%, sometime for very short time. I woulf like to receive an overload alert only if it have been in this situation for 10 minutes for exemple and not send another one in the next hour. That would cut…

no, setup ran quite smooth... First start of the system manager quits with an error, that "swlogo.ocx" is not properly registered. Re-registered it and could start it then...

With the SP will we be able to change the colors within the pie graphs as well? Yellow and Green are not ideal colors for everyone on these. Thanks.

We'll fix this.

That worked. Thank you.

Here is answer from customer support: With regards to your concern I can confirm this is a bug in the latest version and we are already investigating this issue. As of now the only workaround is to disable the "User must change password at next login " option.

Here is a labor intensive workaround we got from Support to help in organizing the Reports webpage. I say labor intensive because you'll likely need to do this to most or every report to achieve some level of order (from the present chaotic structure) and be more user-friendly. 1. On the Orion server, go to Report folder,…

Hi Andy thanks for the reply... It looks like there is a sum value in there for total packets through in a given time, and total errors in a given time, so i think i can ignore the multi and uni-cast stuff.. now i have to work out how to pull the data about errors, and traffic into a single report.... i was stealing SQL…

You must be running at least Orion 8.5.1 SP3. If you run the EOC installer on the Orion 8.5.1 server, it will offer you the option of just installing the Information Service. We do not officially support NPM on XP, so we haven't tested it. It may or may not work. On Windows 2003, it defnitely works.

We're on VNQ 4.4. My IP SLA operations are similar. If I go to the VoIP Summary View it displays current MOS score for each of the IP SLA call paths. But if I click any of them I can't see a history of MOS scores. Not sure what the problem is. ip sla 40007 udp-jitter 172.19.16.14 5000 source-ip 172.20.16.33 codec g711ulaw…

I'm unaware of any script. The feature is built into 8.1 and 8.5.

Hi. As per original post, the thresholds are set to 80% and 90%. I'm going to leave this open for a day or so in case anyone else has seen this but think its time to log a support ticket... Thanks

It's fixed, in a round about way, by adding code to the beginning of the vbscript that sets all variables to blank.

I had read this earlier and was good information. The document you metion shows two of the three applications I have working correctly. The RW and RO user accounts work fine from workspace studio and NPM node management SNMP credential configurations. When I go to add a device that is in NPM to IPSLA managed device it…

Hmm...good thought JB. I did not login with the local account after setting it up. I tried your suggestion but still a no go. Same results however I did notice the RunOrionJob.exe is using almost twice the memory now than in the past (some progress) but the job still hangs. I have "Set Orion User Name / Password in URL"…

Thank you for the quick response. This is great news. I was wondering if you had an example using IIS with Windows instead of Apache? Thanks, Ray

Thanks Zackm,I worked like charm.

Yes, I have downloaded the requisite SRM install files but the question on install is vague. All of it seems to deal with integration with STM. I don't want that. I only want to use SRM and how do I get rid of the STM? Do I just uninstall it or what?

I started the remote registry service but it stopped after a few minutes. I can see the event log saying the remote registry service terminated unexpectedly. while it was up the components that were in an unknown status changed to green but the ones that show down still showed down. Are these services suppose to exist in…

The snapshot attachment is what my alert trigger condition looks like now. This did not work have to rethink the logic on it. NOTE: I have it figured out now have to add the condition group to each inner condition group. add a NONE group for each of the Define ALLs and it should work then

I'd like to see an update on this as well. I just noticed that we have no alerting on our 7010T power supplies in Solarwinds, because voltage isn't measured, and Solarwinds doesn't have a straight "Power Supply Status" sensor like the Ciscos we have do.
-
It terminates on the "Outside" interface.
-
Thank you jdwebster! That worked.

Solarwinds Intimate product range...? lol get your Solarwinds Y-Fronts here!
