Sorry, I mis-spoke. APM 1.0 can't monitor at that level, but APM 2.0 will be able to using a script.
-
what does that mean "Umonitored Traffic"? I thought by running the script which updates the serviceports table that all ports were being monitored, in fact if I look at the web console on the page "Edit Application and Service Ports" it clearly states "62326 ports selected". But I don't think this is working, how can I…

Verification that upgraded SolarWinds installation is operational or not???

We don't hunt for rogue tables. Dev suggested that you might want to prepend your table name with something unique to elminate the possibilty of our accidentally overwriting your table.

Not using the control we use. That's not to say you couldn't integrate some other control, but that's going to have to be custom code on your part.

I guess it's just a reverse DNS issue. NTA is pulling its DNS resolutions from our local DNS server, and if our DNS can't resolve 173.194.9.217 to youtube.com, then NTA is just going to show the IP address.

The commands look to be the same as editing the snmp.xml file. As I have a Dell OME monitoring my ESX servers too, I was running into problems specifying more than one trap server with the command line, hence editing the snmp file. Scoot down to Cormans answer to give you an idea: ESXi Free, SNMP, and Dell OpenManage…

Before we go any further, please try SP2. We made some changes to the job engine, which may address the problem. If you still have the problem after SP2, then you should open a ticket.

carlo1ziel, This is happening due to an increased number of spam we received lately, so we needed to strengthen our spam filter. You will be receiving shortly some more information. Hang tight!

Commented on the other post on the download link, but to upgrade, just run the upgrade again (exact same process). It'll move you from RC2 to RC3.

:/ if you opened a support case, can you give me the number?

you could use CPE to create the new one, select the entire column from the old one, then copy and paste the entire column to the new property. Thanks for everyone's input. vhcato, I thought of doing as you suggested but we wanted to keep the same CP name. We would still need to deal with reordering the CPnames for ease of…

We'll certainly consider TCP port scanning. It's not a request I've heard before, so I'd be interested to see who else reading this thread might want that feature.
-
Never mind figured it out. Thank you!

There are only two products I am using and I need to make sure I'm talking about the same things you are. I have tried this query in the microsoft management client called SQL Server Management Studio for MSSQL Server 2019. It provides the error I listed above. I have tried this query in the database query tool provided by…

Pserwe, Unfortunately, that data isn't available via SNMP. If it were, we'd publish it. Those data are available as specific WMI performance counters, which NPM doesn't do today. That's not to say we won't add those server/harder-specific data to NPM in the future, but it's not there today. I mentioned APM rather than…

I am thinking that it's Virtual Datastore latency. But would like to know for certain. Thanks!

Hi rjurek, You might find some additional information here: How To Upgrade To NPM 11.5 Hope this helps. Maria

I can't say more than than that without knowing more. Maybe others reading this thread can provide more insight. You might also want to consider a Support ticket.

In the email alert, check and see who the recipients are. Maybe you are explicitly listed in there, as well as part of a distribution list (thereby generating the duplicate message).

We have a couple of out of the box filters that try to capture generic warnings/critical events - where we have generic coverage for these events they have the word "Error" "Warning" "Critical" in EventInfo. They are mapped to the ServiceWarning event, which is LEM severity 4. General guide: * 0: InternalException * 1-2:…

Hi: I appreciate the response to my question. Fortigates do seem to be a very odd platform to enable something like LLDP. I was on a call with me firewall resource and even he had to check on what setting to use (VDOM setting, enable, disable for both send and receive). It also changed depending on whether or not it was a…

Ah! The paths of the logs will change so the systems can't really coexist on the same configuration cleanly, but you should be able to do the same monitoring on both Windows and Linux. One way to do this would be: * Create a connector profile for a Linux webserver that has a good monitoring config * Clone the connector…

Note: both servers are in the same workgroup. i have no domain controller

But to clarify - if you have a 16000 IP license and you try to scan 20000 and only 10 addresses are actually reachable, you're saying the process stops once those first 16000 have been scanned. Is that correct?

UDT integration is at the top of our "want" list. The sooner the better. Rick

You need a unique up and down event by event type, then something to tie the events together per tunnel (e.g. SourceMachine needs to match). Basically we'll have one rule that describes the "down but not up in 5 minutes" and that rule will "remember" (or fire for) each tunnel as long as there's a field to compare. If you…

Hi! Our customer really need this feature, they want to know if this would be possible?

turns out the URL login does not like "#" in the password... removed and it started working again :-(
